Chapter 136
Chapter 136.
I blinked back my tears and looked around for either Rex or JJ. Rex was still talking to council members with his parents, and JJ was in the corner with Cathy laughing about something. I didn’t want to spoil their mood, so I went to the second–best thing that would make me feel better when my friends were unavailable: Dessert.
I made my way to the colossal dessert table that made me fall in love at first sight. There was everything a girl could wish for, red velvet cupcakes, chocolate cupcakes, cake pops, candy, chocolate fountain. and treats, custard, pudding, cheesecake, and so much more. My mouth salivated, looking at the sugary goodness. Taking a plate, I filled it up to the max I could and went outside to sit in the Pavillion; I didn’t want auntie Meg or one of my brothers to see me with so much sugar. They would probably get a heart attack; I giggled as I made myself comfy on the lounge chairs and started eating.
I was midway through my dessert when I heard a gruff cute voice.
“You know, for someone who completed those trials so fast, you sure have an unhealthy diet.” Said a boy.
He was probably Rex’s height, had black hair and brown eyes, and was very cute. I couldn’t help but blush at his words, and mostly because he was, what Cathy would say, smoking.
“Um, no, it’s not, um…” I said, trying to find words.
Goddess! Here I was confronted with the cutest boy I had seen, and I was making a fool out of myself.
“Easy there, cupcake. You might end up choking on your saliva.” He said, laughing
I giggled. Putting the plate down, I patted my hands and stood in front. of him with a smile..
“Kiara, Kiara Middleton is my name, not cupcake. And, for your information, you can’t die by choking on your saliva, gag maybe, but die, I don’t think so, plus that’s a human thing.” I said, smiling at him. and putting out my hand to shake his
The cutie chuckled and shook his head before he shook hands with me..
“I know who you are! It’s hard to miss the most beautiful girl here, and you maybe Kiara but to me, you’re cupcake.” Said the stranger
I couldn’t help but blush. He sure was good with his words.
“Aiden Black, by the way. Future alpha of the Blood Moon pack.” Said. Aiden
I marvelled at him, to which he just chuckled and flipped my nose.
“Hey, that was rude,” I said, taking my hand away and rubbing my nose with a pout.

Aiden laughed.
“Easy cupcake, it was a joke. Come, let’s finish your dessert. I got bored inside and decided to head out. If I knew I would meet such a beautiful girl earlier, I would’ve come out way earlier.” Said Aiden leading me toward the sofa.
I couldn’t help but laugh and blush throughout the time with him. We sat and talked. Aiden was amazing; he was thirteen years old, a warrior scholarship recipient, played basketball, tennis and football and was super smart as well. I could easily hold a conversation about the stuff I learned from my scholar scholarship with him. What seemed like minutes turned into two hours, and we didn’t even realize it until I heard auntie Meg call me, which had Aiden and me both get–up.
“Well, cupcake looks like you got to go. I look forward to hanging out with you for the next few years but make no mistake; I’ll be whooping your bum every chance I get during sparing.” Said Aiden.
I laughed and shoved his shoulder. He caught my hand and pulled me into a hug. For some reason, I didn’t feel weird in his arms, it was actually nice, and just as we parted, he kissed my cheek, which had me as red as a tomato. However, before I could get a word out, we heard the most dangerous snarls coming from the front that had both him and me still in fright, Our eyes went towards the door as King Kayden and King Jayden looked at us with so much fury that it was about to make me cry in horror.
What had happened?
