Chapter Divorcing 110
Chapter 110 The Conflict

Tiffany, witnessing Lucy being hit, joined the fray immediately.
Chloe fought against two, her hands working in tandem, eliciting howls of pain from both.
"Bitch, let me go!" Lucy cried out as Chloe grabbed her hair, the pain numbing her to the core.
Her facade of gentleness and understanding could no longer be
sustained.
Seeing her daughter being bullied, Tiffany swung into action.
Chloe disregarded the pain of her nails digging into her arm.
Her eyes were bloodshot, and she fiercely choked Lucy's neck while her other hand relentlessly slapped her face.
"I gave you a chance, but you kept pushing my limits. Lucy, why don't you and your mother just die!"
The ones who should have suffered were them, so why was she and Wendy the ones in agony?
It was so unfair.
Michael arrived just in time to see the three of them entangled in a scuffle.

He was taken aback for a moment, then quickly strode forward to separate them.
Chloe was reluctant to let go, but her strength was no match for Michael's, and she was forced to release Lucy.
The moment Tiffany saw Michael, she let go of Chloe and put on a pitiful act.
"Michael, we didn't do anything. Chloe just barged in and started hitting us. You have to stand up for us!"
Lucy, at this point, was disheveled, her hair a mess.
Her face was covered in bright red handprints from Chloe's slaps.
"Michael, I brought my mom here for a check-up and just stopped by to see Wendy. I didn't know she would have a fit, nor why Chloe would attack me without reason."
The commotion was so loud that doctors and nurses from
outside came in as well.
After settling Wendy, the doctor approached Chloe and
reassured her that Wendy was fine, just a bit shocked, and had been given a sedative.
Chloe watched as Michael, with his back to her, comforted Lucy and Tiffany, feeling a bit sad. Chapter 110 The Conflict

He then led them out of the room, and she didn't know what was
said outside.
After a while, he came back in alone.
Chloe sat by Wendy's bedside, quietly observing her sleeping face.
She apologized to Wendy in her heart.
If she had come earlier today, none of this would have happened.
Michael entered with a hint of helplessness.
"Why go to such extremes? They just wanted to see Wendy, with no other intentions."
He thought that what he had said to her on the phone today had gone in one ear and out the other.
But Chloe suddenly stood up, the chair leg scraping against the floor tiles, creating a shrill, grating sound.
"Why shouldn't I? Didn't you see how they provoked my mom into having a fit? You saw nothing. How can you say it's my fault? Should I just watch them bully my mom and do nothing, even smiling and greeting them?"
Chloe's sudden outburst startled Michael.
He didn't want her to be upset; he just wanted to seek the

quickest way to resolve the issue.

He knew Quarrels and fights would only exacerbate the conflict.
Yet, he was also aware that Chloe wouldn't be receptive to such reasoning at the moment.
"Could you please calm down?" he asked.
"Calm down? Michael, are you even human? Do you have any idea what Lucy and Tiffany did to my mother and me back then?" Chloe was seething.
