Absolute Chaos

Chapter 13.

Pacing the floor angrily, Araphel could not quell his foul mood, the new slave girl was useless and Masika, he was beginning to tire of. Neither girl had quenched his thirst, his fury still bubbling deep inside.

Yelling loudly, Araphel’s summoned Merkha to his cave.

“Merkha!”. He came out from the shadows, bowing low and stood before his King.

“Did you find Maia?, that little whore friend of my sons!.” Bowing again, Merkha turned on his heels, leaving Araphel to continue pacing. He returned a few moments later with Maia, towering over her small dark frame, holding the little woman firmly under her arm.

He had suspicions on Maia’s origins, hearing a few whispers over the years, however Theda had always denied them.

Araphel observed she was barely a woman, he knew Maia was four or five years Raijen’s junior. She had a defiant, cheeky look in her eyes, yet they radiated pure fear of him.

“Leave us!”, Araphel threw his hands in the air, Merkha bowed and left his masters room, leaving Maia to her cruel fate.

“Ah....Maia, what a pretty name.” Araphel crooned.

“My my, you are very sweet.” Quickly he moved to her side snatching at her small wrist, making her gasp with the unexpected gesture.

Maia stood as straight as she could, staring dead ahead, trying not to react to his harsh touch. Araphel then led her to his bed, still gripping her wrist tightly and forced her to sit upon the fur.

“So my dear...I’ve been hearing some things of late, rumours are spreading throughout MY lands!.... I’ve been told you hold a secret,....what is that secret Maia?.” The ‘great’ King of Otamia growled.

Squirming a little, Maia composed herself, Araphel could feel her heartbeat racing through her wrist, her pulse a thunderous gallop of horses hammering the Earth as they charged.

“I am sorry my King, I do not know of any secrets.” The small woman easily lied, the defiant sparkle in her eyes growing.

Abruptly Araphel let go of her wrist, stood and began pacing before her.

“I will give you one more chance my dear, if you lie to me again you will suffer the consequences. Do you understand?.” He stopped mid stride and stood directly if front of her, peering down at her small frame. The stubborn woman didn’t answer, she only stared with terror at the floor.

Araphel wrenched Maia’s chin up to face him, his dark eyes piercing her soul with his fury.

“Look at me whore!...I asked you a question, I asked you if you understood?.” He watched the fear move throughout her body, enjoying her crumble with terror before him.

Araphel’s groin hardened at the thought of this little woman beneath him, knowing he would easily crush her excited him beyond comprehension.

Maia cleared her throat, braving an answer.

“I understand my King,.... I would never lie to you!.” She added.

“Such defiance in one so small!.” Araphel’s voice rose a notch.

Turning his back towards her, striding to his bedroom door, the King disappeared through the bedrooms curtains and found Merkha sitting near his small fire place drinking spiced tea.

“Merkha, go stand outside with Sabaf, I will call you back in when I need you.”

Standing without question, Merkha left his masters cave, Araphel followed, closing the wooden doors that kept his cave and his riches secure behind him.

Araphel knew the little whore was lying, he would get the truth from her yet, excited to dig it from her. He Walked back into his bedroom, Maia still sat bravely on his bed.

“I heard you and my son saw a winged woman, an Angel that fell from the skies....and now that Angel is here, hiding from her King!.... where is this woman with wings?, I know my son has kept this from me!,.. lying to his own father!.” Spinning Maia to face him, Araphel wrenched Maia off the bed and planted her harshly on her feet.

The dark little woman paled visibly as the King now slid one of his large hands around her throat, easily circling it with his powerful fingers.

“Please.....my King....I have not seen any.....winged woman!...I swear!.” Hot tears stung her eyes, her lungs burned from within, desperately gasping for air, the ‘great’ King of Otamia squeezed Maia’s neck tighter, near crushing her delicate bones.

“I know you are lying!.” Growling, Araphel lifted her off the floor, dangling her there until she was near unconscious and then abruptly dropped her, Maia crumpled to the floor at his feet, gasping and choking, trying desperately to pull in the sweet air.

Again Araphel started to pace around his bed.

“You will regret this Maia and you will tell me what I already know is true before I am finished with you!.” He thought she would speak then, this usually worked, however Maia was silent, her breathing astoundingly slowed.

This enraged the King, striding towards her, Araphel wrenched her off the floor and threw her small frame onto his bed, towering over her, licking his foul lips, watching the fear ripple amid her eyes, arousing him even more.

The little woman quickly sat up and backed up against the bed head, instinctively hugging her knees to her chest.

“Please my King,...No.”

Araphel came at her then, ripping the linen wrap from his waist, exposing his wickedness. Quickly he knelt in front of the terrified woman, slamming his sweaty palm over her mouth, muffling her protests. He could both smell her fear and see it in her large dark eyes.

“Now my dear, are you going to talk?, tell me what I want to hear?. Do not lie to me again Maia!, I dare say you know what will come next if you don’t tell me the truth.... If you tell me what I want to hear, I will spare you this indignity.” Araphel would have his way with her if she told him the truth or not, however Maia didn’t know that, this tactic usually worked with a mere woman, believing a woman did not have the same brain power as a man, believing she would tell him everything he needed to know.

Slowly Araphel moved his hand from her mouth,

“Do not scream Maia.” The King looked down upon her, she was terrified, her dark olive skin sweating beneath him, her huge chocolate eyes darting back and forth, not daring to look directly upon him.

Yet to Araphel’s surprise, she did not speak.

“Well Maia?..... are you going to speak?.”

Her whole body shook, barely forming the words.

“I...I wouldn’t lie to my...King!, I do not know anything!......I swear to you!.”

He would have believed her if he did not already know the truth, Theda had told him everything, Maia was now as traitorous as his son!.

His gross hands ripped the wrap from her heated skin, Maia screamed, lashing out, clawing at his cheek.

Again Araphel grabbed her by the throat, knowing he could snap the life from her if he pleased.

“Ha ha ha ha...stay still little whore!” He lifted Maia from his bed, throwing her onto her back.

Maia scrambled backwards and curled into a small ball at the top of his large bed.

Seeing her terror only excited the King more than ever, knowing he would soon be inside her dark depths only made him want to hurt her more, to make her suffer much more than she deserved.

“Don’t move Maia or you will suffer much more than a mere strangling!.” Kneeling over her, the ‘great’ King gripped both her wrists, wrenching them roughly apart. She began to scream, quickly he slammed his huge palm over her lips.

Araphel’s patience had parted. Drawing in a deep breath he smashed his fist into Maia’s stomach, the sound that came from her satisfying him for one small moment, she growled like a dying animal, her breath stolen, gasping desperately for the sweet Egyptian air.

“Well that was your last chance Maia!, I will now be the last face you see until your untimely death!.”

Maia began to sob.

“No,, no....please..” Again he slammed his hand over her mouth, straddling her, Araphel looked directly into her frightened eyes, digging his fingernails deep into her soft flesh.

“Last chance whore!. Tell me...tell me N!.” Carefully he watched Maia’s face as she whimpered and pleaded, tears fell over her checks and ran down her neck, wetting the fur beneath her.

Giving her his most charming smile, the ‘great’ King stared directly into her terrified eyes, trying yet again for her to tell him of this winged woman, this fallen Angel from the sky.

“No....please Araphel...my King.....I cannot...I do not know!....please let me go...”

The little patience Araphel had left now shattered, he’d had enough and gripped her lithe hips, slamming Maia towards him. Small whimpers came from her quivering lips, her sweat and tears mixing with her fear and fury.

Araphel was fascinated with Maia’s defiance, unable to understand her loyalty to his son.

Watching her intently, the King again licked his lips, breathing in her scent of pure terror and tasted her fury.

Silent tears streaked Maia’s bruised face, her muffled sobs inflamed him, the ‘great’ King of Otamia grinned from ear to ear as his foul seed now filled her pure soul......
