Chapter 10.
Slowly standing from the rocks below his feet, Arawn squinted into the darkness, only seeing black sand in every direction. He squeezed the Alzphaeta diamond between his huge fist, blood ran freely from his palm, he did not care.
The vile creature’s huge dark wings loomed above his head, fetid eyes darting in every direction. Cracking his bones and moving his flesh, Arawn pushed his tremendous wings back inside his hulking form, dissolving them into his essence.
He was injured, the intense force of the portal had tried to rip him apart, nonetheless he managed to stagger towards his ultimate destination, the Alzphaeta diamond showing him the way.
As far as Arawn observed, he could not see the other Gods Am-heh and Shesmu or the great Goddess Amaunet anywhere, they must have come through the portal elsewhere.
Brushing the other deities to the back of his mind, Arawn continued on his quest.
Each step became a little easier, his brawn already healing quickly around his Divine blood.
Making his way to the ancient lands of Otamia, he needed to find the pyramid,...the great pyramid of the first God, Temu.
The Alzphaeta diamond was desperate to be reunited with its other half, pulsing fiercely inside his palm, pushing him further towards the extreme power, oblivious to all else around him.
The extraordinary diamond was consuming him, telling him where to tread, knowing exactly what he must do. He pushed further through the sands, closer to his ultimate prize, his obsession growing with every step, swelling into a thick black madness.
