I arrived at my mansion in Umbria in the early hours of the morning, Akor received me and his face shows concern, he explains me that the human has a fever and that he doesn't know what has happened to her, I walk to my room and I wai for him to give me explanations of why she is in my room.
-Did you call the doctor? -1 ask while I touch the human's forehead to feel her elevated temperature.
-He'll be here in an hour, alpha,” she replies.
Tell him to hurry because if the human dies, he and you will die too," I growl.
Yes, alpha,” he replies to leave the room.
Seeing this human is like looking at my beloved Astrid, there is no doubt that they are identical and the only difference i that her skin is warm while my beloved's was cold, I sigh and hope that it is nothing serious.
The doctor arrives just after thirty minutes and I leave the room to go to my office, I feel exhausted from all the trip here and 1 still have to call Donato to take care of the company, it's his right to take care of it too.

“Why is the human in my room? -I question.
-She never said where she wanted me to be,” he replies.
I look him straight in the eye and he’s forced to duck his head.
“When the doctor checks her out and gives her a diagnosis,” I pause, “They're taking her to a visiting room, I don't want tt human in my room,” I say.
-Are you sure? -1 growl towards my beta.
-Don't question me, Ako" I murmur.
“We've been friends for years, don't think I overlook your expressions, even if most of the time I'm grumpy,” I curse him internally.

After several hours the doctor gives his diagnosis and luckily it's nothing serious. It turns out that the human ingested a I of food and suffered a very bad digestion, I ask Akor to give him his payment and return to my room where the girl is still unconscious.
Akor arrives and takes her somewhere else, my phone rings and I catch a glimpse of Kristin's name, I sigh and pick up the call, I walk to the bathroom and the smell of the human wafts through my room.
“What do you want? -1 ask.
-I thought you were arriving from your trip today,” she says.
-Itll be a few days I say, “I don't want to be disturbed.
-1 understand, I miss you,” she whispers.
~You don't have to worry about me," I reply.
Even if you ask me to do that, I can't help it," 1 bring my index finger and thumb to the bridge of my nose, as 1 feel uncomfortable with the smell of that human everywhere.
-Astrid... I mean, Kristin, I'l talk to you another time," I hang up.
It's always the same problem, I tell her the name of my beloved when I talk to her and that's why I usually don't communicate much with her. During 5° I've also named her that way and that makes her very angry, but she never show: it.
I look in the drawers for a spray bottle filled with a wild fragrance water and start spraying it all over the room, hoping to get rid of the human's smell, it makes me uncomfortable that it's everywhere.
The smell doesn't go away and I leave the room to go to my pool. I look for a cigar in a drawer near the drinking area, ligh it and take a seat on one of the beach chairs, I stay there for hours while my body relaxes with the smell of tobacco.
The night covers the whole sky, itis full of stars with a huge full moon, I get rid of all my clothes being naked and get intc the cold water that collides with the warm temperature of my body, I sigh and swim back and forth for a long period of time.
Swimming is a good way to relax, my life has become stressful since I distanced myself from my father, Kristin was responsible for my problems and I know the king is absolutely right, however, my alpha pride will not allow me to have a conversation with my father. Our conflict has a ridiculous solution and that is to apologise for being an idiot, I couldn't help but protect Kristin when she almost died and I know it wasn't right for her to kill the human.
Out of respect for me, Leonardo just wanted to banish her and I couldn't let her go alone, I went with her and took over t mob. That's how I destroyed my friendship with my father, the king who used to be a ruthless mobster, however, then he started to value the lives of humans and seeing me be the same as him, infuriates him.
I don't care about stupid humans, if I have to break their necks and end their worthless lives once and for all, I do it without mercy. They are an inferior species, my mother is terrified of my new version and that's why she comes to visit m from time to time, Kara tries to talk some sense into me and get me to return to my father's protection.
That will never happen, I don't want to apologise to Leonardo Marchetti and make his alpha ego grow. I bear his surname and our problem, it's just a fight of macho men who don't want to give in to each other, its frustrating to love each other and be estranged, however, we haven't seen each other for a long time and we just miss each other in silence.

I take all my frustration out on her, s gets nothing in return and that makes her an important woman in my life.
I don't love her and I never will, however, Kristin is important and she is part of my whole story.
I sigh to get out of the pool, 'm not worried about entering the mansion naked. The only people awake at this hour are guards and they are all werewolves and lions, there isn't much to see on my body that they don't see on theirs.
In the gloom of the mansion I guide myself by my senses to what I think is my room. I enter and turn on the lights, I am startled by a woman's scream and turn around with a frown on my face.
