Jared gave a slight nod, then turned around, his icy gaze landing on Tavon. His voice was laced with a hint of mockery as he said, "Dumbo, didn't expect we'd meet again, did you? Are you trying to get yourself killed again?"

Upon hearing Jared's remark, Tavon felt a shudder run through his body as he recalled the terrifying image of Arthur.

However, this is Beast City. Even if Jared has powerful connections in Ethereal Realm, there's no way he can make his way here.

With this thought in mind, Tavon sneered, "Kid, you're unlucky to have run into me today. You took something of mine, and I'll make sure you give it back with interest!"

"Do you really have what it takes to get it back? You've already failed once, yet you still have the audacity to talk big," Jared said with a laugh.

The conversation between Jared and Tavon left Jaime and Rex utterly bewildered. They never expected Jared and Tavon to know each other.

"Tavon, do you know this brat?" Rex asked in confusion.

"Of course I know him, he's the one who took my celestial crystal," Tavon replied.

"What?" Rex gasped. "Is he a cultivator from beyond Beast City?"

Jaime turned to look at Jared, his face full of disbelief.

"Indeed, I hail from beyond Beast City. I owe my success in finding this place to this fool's map. Otherwise, I wouldn't have been able to find this place. If I hadn't come here, I wouldn't have discovered this mine and naturally wouldn't have been able to breakthrough to Ultimate Realm Level Two. Come to think of it, I should really be thanking this idiot!" Jared said, a mischievous expression on his face. Listening to Jared's sarcastic remarks, Tavon, overwhelmed with rage, broke into laughter. "Hahaha! You ignorant fool, you're nothing more than an Ultimate Realm Level One cultivator, yet you dare to talk big in front of me? Today, I will tear you into a thousand pieces. Only then will my vengeance be satisfied." With that, Tavon no longer hesitated. He exerted his full strength, and the black spiritual energy sphere in his hand instantly expanded several times, hurtling toward Jared ferociously.

Wherever the black spiritual energy sphere passed, it seemed as if the air itself was being torn apart, creating a piercing noise.

Jared watched as Tavon charged toward him, yet his eyes were devoid of any trace of fear.

He took a deep breath, the spiritual energy within him surging like crashing waves.

A surge of immense lightning nascence erupted from within him, coalescing into a massive thunder dragon before him.

"Attack!"

Amidst Jared's shout, the thunder dragon charged at the black spiritual energy sphere, roaring. Boom!

The two collided, instantly setting off an earth-shattering explosion.

A powerful energy shockwave, akin to a raging tsunami, spread in all directions.

Everyone hastily retreated, seeking to evade this overwhelming force.

Jaime's subordinates were completely overpowered by this force, leaving many of them severely injured.

Even Rex was forced to backpedal by this overwhelming force, his face turning as pale as a sheet.

Once the dust had settled, everyone saw Tavon staring at Jared in utter shock.

At that moment, Tavon was left in a terrible state. His clothes were ragged and torn; his hair was a disheveled mess; and a thin trail of fresh blood was lingering at the corner of his mouth.

Meanwhile, Jared stood firmly in place, his breath steady, as if the earlier clash hadn't affected him in the slightest.

"This... This can't be possible!" Tavon remarked in disbelief.

He couldn't fathom how, in just a matter of days, Jared's capabilities had undergone such astonishing progress.

Two. How on earth did he manage

to defeat me when I'm at Top Level Ultimate Realm Level Nine? This doesn't make any sense!
