"Weren't you intending to leave me whole? Why are you begging me now?"

Jared was looking at Billy as he spoke.

"Mr. Chance, I was talking nonsense back then. Please, don't take it to heart! Considering we're both human cultivators, please spare me this time!"

Inwardly, Billy was groaning in distress. He had never anticipated that Jared would be this formidable, nor that things would escalate to such an extent!

Jared shook his head!

Billy was still pleading for mercy, but his words abruptly ended before he could finish!

Jared struck Billy's head with his palm. Instantly, Billy's head burst open, leaving him so dead that he couldn't possibly be deader!

Upon witnessing this scene, both Teegan and Riehl were so frightened that they shivered!

Now that Billy was dead, it was their turn next!

For Riehl, he held no grudges against Jared. He only got involved because he wanted to help the Buckley family!

"Buddy, we bear no grudges against each other. It was only due to Teegan's manipulation that I acted against you. If you would spare my life, I am willing to offer you all the magical items I possess. I know you're quite skilled in array craft. I have here four array documentation devices, all discovered within various ancient ruins. Since I don't have a good enough understanding of array craft, I've failed to comprehend these array documentation devices. I'm willing to hand them all over to you, my friend!" In order to save his life, Riehl, trembling, pulled out an item pouch!

Inside were some cultivation resources, but the most crucial items were the four array documentation devices. He had obtained these many years ago from some ancient and abandoned ruins!

There were too few array masters in the Ethereal Realm. Even if others managed to get their hands on these array documentation devices, they would be of no use. Nobody knew how to use them, nor could they comprehend them!
