Chapter 102
Chapter 102
Darius POV
I threw a hard punch in Mason’s face and he staggered back. I’d first waited for Reina to return to her room before I launched the attack. Mason fell to the ground and I could see the surprise on his face.
I’d never punched him other than the day when we were in training. We never even got into an argument that could lead to throwing punches at each other but I couldn’t control my anger. My wolf was on the edge.
I grabbed Mason by the collar and pulled him up.
“What the fuck are you doing, Darius?” He asked. I could see his claws appearing and disappearing again. He was stopping himself from fighting back,
“This is all your fault,” I yelled. “You caused all this. Angela is missing because of you
His face suddenly became pale. “Angela is missing? How? When?”
I removed my hand from his collar and pushed him back a bit.
“Where the heck have you been? We’ve been looking for you. Everyone assumed you were captured by one of the rogue Kings. I had to leave Angela and Reina behind to go look for you and when I came back, she was gone,”
“Fuck,” He cursed under his breath. “My pack was attacked, Darius. Three rogue Kings formed an alliance against only my pack and maybe yours too, I can’t say. It was supposed to be a secret operation but I caught a wind of it. I had to save myself and a few others.”
I clicked my tongue. None of his words appeared true to me. “We went to your pack. We found the dead bodies. Azalea found out as well that you were captured by Jethro,”
“If I was in Jethro’s pack, he sure would be dead by now. After we left the pack behind, some of us went back and attacked the few rogues lingering behind. I had to burn their bodies including those who died from my pack to be able to hide their scents and keep the rest of us safe. Also, I knew you killed Jethro already,”
He added with a smirk.
Jethro didn’t particularly die by my hand but I was still the brain behind the plan to get rid of him.
“I was played for an idiot by Ryker. He knew you were fine and he used that against me until he couldn’t,”
“You and Ryker belonged to the same group or brotherhood. His madness should have a limit,” “Ryker is a rogue. He has no limit. He’s not a respecter of any fucking rule and he doesn’t give two shits about anybody other than himself. He kept on being a rogue King because that way no rules in

the werewolf wild could bind him. He goes after what he wants like a blind bat and until he has it. everything in his path will be crushed into pieces, be’s nothing less of a bastard,”
“Every wolf, either Rogue or
I raised an eyebrow. Mason knew something I did. He always knew something anyway but I was more surprised he could have leverage over someone as secretive as Ryker.
“Daddy.” My princess called from the top of the stairs. I looked up to see her waving at me to come.
I smiled brightly at her before turning to Mason with a frown. “I’ll be back. Better fucking stay right at that spot,”
‘T’ll tell Angela you used the T word while Reina was there,”
1 squinted my eyes as I glared at him. He winked and smiled like an idiot..
I picked Reina up into my arms and walked us back to the room.
“What’s wrong baby?”
She had already changed her outfit and her hair was incredibly wet. “What did you do?” I asked as I touched her hair.
She grinned. “I took my bath,”
“Cold water?” I asked with a frown.
“Yes!” She giggled. How was that supposed to be funny?
“Reina!”
“I’m not cold, I promise, Daddy,”
“Yeah, thanks to your werewolf genes,” I walked into the bathroom and came back with some towels. I wrapped one around her body and used the other to dry her hair.
She hated hair dryers so we never used them for her. Once I was done, I styled it in a way that would help her get her hair dry faster. I’d watched some videos on YouTube after I met her and with practice on her hair, of course, I got better.
“Now, that’s perfect,”
I announced once I was done. “It’s pretty, daddy,”
She squealed and suddenly hugged me.
“Can you read me a bedtime story?”
“Okay, my Princess,”

I got her tucked into bed and read her the book she selected. By the time I was done, she was out like a light. I left her room.
I met Mason right where I’d left him but he was with a cup of coffee this time.
“We need to get rid of Ryker,” Mason announced at the sound of my footsteps.

“That’s almost impossible. Ryker isn’t the easiest guy to get rid of and a lot of things have to be in place as well. First, we don’t know his pack,”
He scoffed. “Remember Oliver’s greenhouse?”
“The one in the North,”
“Yes. Ryker’s pack is just a stone’s throw from there,
I frowned. “How do you know that?”
put
“Don’t worry about that. I have my way. Just trust me. I’d do anything to get that man out of the picture,”
“I can’t get rid of him. It’s one of the rules of the brotherhood. I can’t kill him”
“I know the rules that bind each member, Darius. I read them to you till you almost pulled out my trachea for talking too much and almost exposing you to Mom. I know them like the back of my hand. Believe me, Ryker broke those rules first by kidnapping your mate and lusting after your pack. He’s meant to die,”
“It’ll be stupid to attack his pack,”
“Fuck his pack! We lure him out of his hole and keep him trapped. Then we exterminate the shit out of him and his men,”
I looked at him and he held my gaze. He raised his coffee cup at me.
Nothing else mattered in his world other than bringing Angela back. I would pay anything and everything to have her home again. This was all my fault. Angela was in danger because of me.
“Let’s do it,”
“Let’s f*ck Ryker up,”
