After checking on Desmond and Quiana at the hospital to ensure they were in good health, Finnegan returned to Dragon Bay.
He did not let Alisha follow along.
Having instructed the servants not to disturb him, he made his way to the coconut grove in the back garden.

A moment later, the man in the black robe reappeared, kneeling on one knee before Finnegan. “Greetings, Mr. Larkin!”

He then took out the South-North Badge.
As he handed it over to the man in the black robe who had already stood up, he said, “The South-North Badge won’t be needed
anymore. Take it back.”
But the man in the black robe did not respond.

“I should keep it?” Finnegan revealed an intrigued expression. “Why do I get the feeling that your master has some ulterior
motive? Is this thing really worth keeping?”
The South-North Badge of the Martial Arts Alliance represented the personal arrival of the chairman.
Others might think it was quite good, but Finnegan knew the kind of trouble holding onto it could bring.
The man in the black robe replied, “I’m merely conveying my master’s words. If you have any doubts, you can ask my master
directly!”

Finnegan sighed, knowing that he would not be able to return the South-North Badge.
He kept it back in his pocket and said, “I’ll keep it safe for now. There’s another reason I called you here. I want the lives of
Oswald’s family. Is that possible?”
The man in the black robe shuddered. “Mr. Larkin, you’ve crippled his family. They seem to pose no threat to you anymore.”
“No threat?” Finnegan scoffed. “You probably don’t understand the saying that even waste has value, do – you?”
The Farringtons might have been overthrown, but that didn’t mean they, who had controlled the Nuthana Martial Arts Alliance for
many years, had no cards left to play.
