Chapter 0537

After saying that, Miranda strode onto campus, leaving Hansel with a bitter smile.

He muttered, “I never thought about doing anything like that… Am I really that terrible in your eyes?”

Miranda went to class first. After class, she headed to the lab with Madison and Sebastian.

There were still five days left before they could no longer use the lab. They needed to produce the first phase of experimental data before their deadline.

However, the lab door was wide open when they arrived. Inside, some janitors were moving their belongings.

Madison shouted, “What are you doing? Who allowed you to enter? Where are you taking our stuff?”

They had put in a lot of time and effort into setting up this lab. They bought everything and cleaned the place together. It wasn’t an exaggeration to say that they treated this lab as their second home.

Now, a group of strangers barged in and moved their stuff without a word. How could anyone stay calm? At any rate, Madison was furious! “Put it down! Put everything down immediately! Do you hear me?”

The janitors exchanged glances in confusion and answered innocently, “It was the faculty who asked us to move these things.”

Miranda kept calm. “Can you tell us who specifically instructed you to do this?”

“It’s Dr. Xander. She said this lab failed the fire safety inspection, so we are to move everything out to prepare for renovations.”

Madison gritted her teeth. “That witch again! We clearly still have five more days, but she can’t even wait for such a short time. She won’t be satisfied until we’re kicked out!

How could someone be so mean? And she was somehow qualified to become a professor?

One of the janitors scratched his head. “I’m sorry, but we don’t know the details in this matter. We are only following instructions from the higher–ups.

Miranda didn’t make things difficult for them. She said, “It’s almost lunchtime. You should go have lunch first. We’ll discuss this in the afternoon.”

“Alright, we’ll leave first.”

Madison was so angry that her eyes turned red. “Miranda, what should we do? We still have more than ten sets of unprocessed data. What are we going to do if they restrict us from using the lab?”

Although they had already decided to set up their own lab, they still needed more time. For now, they had to complete the first phase of the experiment before they could start analyzing the results.

They didn’t need to use the lab temporarily while analyzing the experiment data, as long as there was no need to repeat the experiments. The precondition was that they had to process all ten sets of delayed data first.

If they were kicked out of the lab now, their plans would be completely disrupted.

“She has gone too far!” Madison cursed angrily. “She doesn’t have any ethics at all! Does she think that

the faculty and Bedford College belong to her?”

Just then, a voice interrupted Madison’s rant, “Wow, what a commotion! Let’s see, who’s the pig making all this racket!” Hank approached them with a cheery smile, his hands in his pockets.

Madison’s eyes widened. “What did you say? You’re a pig! Your whole family are pigs!”

How dare he call her a pig?

Hank chuckled. “Do you even have the time to argue whether you’re a pig or not? If I were in your shoes, I’d have the decency to move out on my own initiative instead of waiting to be kicked out by others.”

He had a smug look on his face. The expression was so annoying that it made Miranda want to slap him.

Narrowing her eyes, she held Madison back from losing her temper and spoke calmly, “Forget it, let’s just pack up our stuff.”

“Miranda!”

Hank let out a triumphant laugh. “Isn’t it better that you understand your situation sooner? Why make me force you out? How pathetic!”

Miranda picked up a piece of lab equipment. She kept her head down as she walked past him. Suddenly, her hand slipped, and the equipment fell with a loud crash.

Immediately, there was a cry of pain.
