Chapter 684
Chapter 684 Look After
Therefore, Kaylah wanted to get away from here when Hendry said he wanted her to take care of him.
However, Hendry wouldn't let Kaylah leave here.
"In my heart, you're the best one to look after me! And I got injured because of you. You should be responsible for it, shouldn't
you?'
Hendry knew that he couldn't let Kaylah go away.
Kaylah found she got no excuses to turn him down when hearing what Hendry said.
Hendry's head and hands were wrapped in gauze. He looked pale and weak.
Looking at Hendry, Kaylah felt it'd be cruel to him if she refused to look after him.
Actually, Hendry was clear about what Kaylah was thinking about. He deliberately pretended to be sad when he spoke.
In the end, Kaylah nodded at him.
"Fine. I owe you one! I'm sorry for what happened today. I'll take care of you till you leave the hospital!"
A satisfied smile lit Hendry’s face.
Hendry was reluctant to stay in the hospital until Kaylah agreed to look after him. Now he even hoped that he could recover more
slowly so that he could spend more time with Kaylah alone.
Chad came to the hospital the next day. When he entered the ward, he saw Hendry lying on the bed. Kaylah, who was sitting
next to the bed, was peeling an apple with her head down.
The sunlight shone on Kaylah's face, making it hard to see her expression.
But Chad knew things must be going well with Hendry and Kaylah when Chad saw the smile on Hendry's face.
In fact, Chad felt he was a third wheel when he opened the door of the ward.
When Hendry saw Chad, he rolled his eyes at Chad.
Chad cleared his throat a little awkwardly.
"Mr. Lowery, are you alright?1’
"Don't worry. I won't die!"
Hendry took a glance at Chad.
Kaylah heaved a sigh of relief when she saw Chad.
Kaylah passed the apple to Hendry and then stood up.
She said, "Chad, there you are. You can take care of Hendry now!"
"Where are you going?'
Hendry grabbed Kaylah's arm immediately.
Chad felt that it was an awkward time for him to stay here.
But he didn't dare to do anything but stood still silently.
"Didn't you say that you were going to take care of me until I left the hospital? It's only been a night. Do you want to change your
mind now?"
If Chad weren't here, Kaylah would have rolled her eyes at Hendry.
"I have to go home and pack a change of clothes! I feel like my clothes are going to stink!"
Kaylah had been looking after Hendry after leaving the bar last night.
Kaylah couldn't bear the alcohol on her breath. But she couldn't leave Hendry here alone.
Hendry was relieved when he heard her explanation. Then he let go of Kaylah's arm.
"Well, come back soon!"
Chad had to try hard not to laugh when he saw the strange look on Hendry's face.
Kaylah frowned and had to nod at Hendry.
