"Listen to you?" Sophia's teeth were practically grinding. "You better have a convincing reason. If you can't make me believe you, don't ever talk to me again!"

"At first, I didn't believe it either, but then I thought about it carefully, and it actually makes sense," Lenora explained. She recounted her thought process, including Elijah's involvement, to Sophia.

Lenora quickly shifted the topic. "Let's put that aside for now. I mainly told you this because I used your connection with Zephyr. Don't be mad at me, Soph."

Sophia felt disgusted after hearing Lenora had snapped a picture of Zephyr with another woman. "I'm not mad. You did the right thing! I can't believe he wants to hide it from me. That scumbag deserved it!" "If he contacts you, just pretend you don't know anything about this. I'm worried he might target me."

"Got it."

The two chatted for a bit more.

Sophia said, "You should get back to work. And don't forget to hire someone. Make sure he's good-looking. Don't let him get exposed too easily."

"I'll have them introduce themselves. Pick one!" Bella said.

"Wait a second. Aren't they working here? Can I even hire them?"

Before Bella could respond, one of the men winked at Lenora and said with a smile, "Of course you can, pretty lady. As long as you've got money, we're at your service for anything you need." Lenora gave him a once-over, noting his playful charm. "What's your name? How old are you?"

"Just call me Richard. I'm twenty-six, Scorpio. And you, lovely lady? What do you need from us?"

"I need someone to pose as my boyfriend to deal with my ex-husband."

"Oh? Such a young and beautiful lady already has an ex-husband? I thought you were barely eighteen!" Lenora chuckled. "I find you interesting. Let's go with you."

"Sure, pretty lady. Tell me what you need me to do."

After the others left, Lenora outlined her requirements.

First, as her chosen "boyfriend," Richard needed to treat her with care and know her preferences.
