Moses hung up the phone with a smile and crossed his legs in the private dining room. Then, he casually dialed another number
and said, “I talked to him. He won’t make Cynthia apologize.”
“Really?” Old Man Neal asked tentatively.
“Do you still doubt my abilities?” Moses replied with a smirk on his handsome and mischievous face.
After hearing this, Old Man Neal was relieved. However, he would not feel at ease if he knew how Moses had talked to Joshua.
The whole Neal family knew that Moses understood Joshua the best. He knew how to push his brother’s buttons. Even though
he sometimes received a scolding, he never cared.
Just like this time
Joshua had already planned how to deal with Moses when he came back
He was even plotting on his own sister–in–law!
He really deserved a beating!
Joshua put away his phone and planned to go in and watch Cynthia write the apology letter. However, for some reason, he felt
uncomfortable at the thought that Cynthia would only drift further away from him if he made her do it.
Then, Moses also said something about introducing someone to her.

Cynthia had been looking at Joshua in the study, thinking about why he was still in the room and not leaving after hanging up the
phone.
She could not even concentrate on the project with him in the same
“Joshua, go out after you finish the call. I still have things to do,” Cynthia said straightforwardly, never beating around the
trush
Hearing her voice, Joshua turned to look at her. He saw her expression, and it was as if she was a prickly hedgehog that no one
could approach
“As long as you promise not to target Jayleen again, you don’t have to apologize this time,” Joshua said, staring at her with deep,
inscrutable eyes
He did not know why he was so soft–hearted.
He just did not want to see her pure and innocent eyes full of tears
Cynthia asked, “What?”
This time she really suspected that Joshua was sick as he was unpredictably moody, and his emotions were as changeable as
the weather
“Are you okay?” Cynthia asked her, sensing that something was amiss.
“I’m not joking. We’re married, for better or for worse. Before Jayleen came into the picture, you were fine. I just didn’t expect you
to change like this,” Joshua replied, his demeanor icy as usual
“It’s you who has changed,” Cynthia retorted.
“Cynthia,” Joshua said, his tone becoming more serious. He could not believe how ungrateful she was being
Thankfully, Cynthia really liked how good–looking Joshua was. For the sake of his handsome face, she reminded Joshua,“ Don’t
you think that since Jayleen came back, you’ve lost your ability to make good judgments? Before, you were calm and rational
when dealing with problems. Now you make decisions based solely on your feelings.”

Joshua’s eyes darkened, and a trace of coldness crept into his expression.
“If three people were at the scene and one died, wouldn’t it be normal for the other two to suspect each other?” Joshua
