Chapter 630 It's just a Show
Puzzled, Alice stared at him, and Kennedy gave a low laugh.
"Like a wife trying to catch her traitor husband."
It made Alice stiff, she looked at Kennedy's eyes, "You want to tell me you have something to let me catch?"
Kennedy did not do anything wrong. Alice was to test him, but he did not hear it out, after all, he did not see the call records, also did not have any emotional involvement with the woman called Vera Hayes.
So his conscience was clear.
"Right?" Seeing that he was silent, Alice asked again, but she looked anxious to Kennedy.
Kennedy slightly lowered his eyelids, "Didn't you smell me? Huh?"
Alice, "..."
Indeed, he smelled of himself and nothing else.
However, because it was too clean, it was suspicious, plus Alice had heard the woman's voice.
The woman's voice was much softer than hers. It sounded like a younger girl.
At this thought, Alice finally realized a serious thing.
It'd been five years. She was not any younger.
For a woman, she had already entered the age of gradual decay, but Kennedy, who was now in his prime, was quite different.
Alice's eyes became cold and she pushed him away.
Her mood dropped almost instantly, and Kennedy felt it immediately. Seeing that she was turning to go, he went up to her and hugged her from behind, leaning on her shoulder.
"Don't believe me?"
Alice slightly turned her face and looked at Kennedy leaning on his shoulder through the corner of her eyes.
"Don't you know the more perfect you are, the more suspicious you are?"
Kennedy frowned slightly, "Who said that?"
"Never mind, have you changed your shirt? Did you take a shower? Are they all disinfected?"
Alice smiled sarcastically, saying, "You get rid of all those traces and become perfect. It s fun to deceive yourself while deceiving others?"
At first he thought she was joking, but now he realized that she was serious, hearing her mocking tone.
Immediately, Kennedy frowned deeply, asked with confusion, "You don't believe me?"
"What do I believe in you?" As long as Alice thought of that soft and lovely female voice, she was angry and could not control herself.
Alice pushed away those big hands that held her waist, turned around to look at Kennedy and sneered.
"You didn't show up for several days, saying you were on a business trip abroad, but I don't think so."
Kennedy fixed his eyes on her, frowning tightly. His breath was cold and no one knew what he was thinking. Was she so mad?
Did it work because of his tricks?
What the fat man said worked, didn't it?
Although Alice's words were ironic, her expression on showed she was angry.
But Kennedy was pleased, because he knew, if Alice did not care about him, she would not be so angry.
"Are you worried I have other women abroad?" Kennedy finally asked the question.
He was so calm without panic, as if he had done nothing wrong.
So, what was his relationship with that woman?
Shall she ask him?
If they were related, he wouldn't admit it if she asked.
And would it be an insult to ask him?
Thinking of that, Alice took a step back and shook her head.
"No, I don't care if you have another woman."
"Then why are you angry with me?"
"I'm not angry with you." Alice closed her eyes and remembered the necklace he had just put on her neck, so she wanted to reach it and return it to him.
"It's almost time for work, and you said you hadn't slept in two days. You go back to bed."
She tried hard to keep her anger in check, to make herself seem magnanimous and indifferent.
But Alice neglected that she could pretend not to care, but her action was very obvious.
She took the necklace he had just put on and gave it back to him as a sign that she did not care and told him to go home and rest.
He could not believe it.
Silently, Kennedy looked at her for a long time and was to pick up her necklace. Seeing that, Alice was ready to take her hand back, but Kennedy took her hand.
Then, with force, she staggered forward and ran straight into his arms.
She raised her head in amazement, but he had already pinched her waist.
"Are you dissatisfied because I haven't contacted you? Or do you not like the necklace I gave you?"
Alice, "... Let go of me."
"I won't let go until you make it clear." He drew her closer.
However, Alice thought of picture he was holding another woman, who was more charming and younger than her.
Angrily, Alice pushed him away but failed, and then she sneered.
"Do you do this to other women too?"
Kennedy frowned, "What do you mean?"
"I mean," Alice approached him and wiped her lipstick off his lips with her index finger. She looked at the red stain on her finger tip and said with a sarcastic smile, "Are you such a scoundrel when you are with other women? That's how you learned in five years?"
Kennedy finally understood his meaning.
He did not feel anything wrong before, but not there was a question.
She was in the ridicule of his amorous manner?
Kennedy didn't understand. He had just disappeared for a few days, why did she think so?
He narrowed his eyes.
"Did someone say something to you?"
Seeing that he suddenly narrowed his eyes and looked at her, Alice thought she was right and said through clenched teeth, "Don't mind that, I never thought you were such a person!"
She pushed him away violently, saying, "You came and hug me and kiss me after you were with another woman. Where's your obsession with cleanliness? I thought you really have obsession with cleanliness, but it is just a show. Let go of me!"
