Chapter 109: Is It Disturbing You?
Chapter 109: Is It Disturbing You?
Yanis didn't expect Zane to come over at this time.
She also didn't expect that Zane would bump into this scene unfortunately.
Bonnie didn't notice the door when she came out of the kitchen with something, only to see Ivan standing around the stairs with Yanis in his arms. "Well, are you unwilling to put her down?"
That done, she turned around and saw the man standing at the door carrying some bags, which left her gasped for air.
Although she hoped that Yanis would be a relationship with Ivan, Yanis didn't divorce Zane completely. Therefore, such a scene was really awkward.
The four stood on their respective spots. No one moved.
In the end, Zane walked in first. He put the things in his hands, walked to Ivan and held out his hand. "Thank you for taking care of my wife, Mr. Baxter."
Looking at Zane's hand, Ivan turned to look at Yanis subconsciously.
Yanis pressed her lips and whispered, "Ivan, let me down."
Ivan responded and put Yanis down.
Zane narrowed his eyes as he looked at Yanis standing on the ground. He calmly withdrew his hand that was stretched out in the air.
Yanis looked at him,"Why are you here?"
"Is it disturbing you?"
Yanis was about to speak when Zane's voice sounded, "Grandma asked Sophia to make soup and let me send it you."
Yanis replied, "Well, thank you."
After staring at her for a long time, Zane walked forward, held her in his arms and stepped forward the table.
He put Yanis on the couch. "Grandma let me watch you drink up."
As he spoke, Zane opened the thermal container. He took the spoon and handed it to Yanis,"Drink!"
Yanis,"..."
Bonnie,"..."
Ivan walked over and glanced at the soup in the thermal container. He took a small bowl,"Ladle it in the bowl."
Yanis nodded. When she was ready to take the bowl, Zane got it first.
Yanis's hand was left empty.
"Just drink with it."
Yanis glanced at the box and whispered, "It's a bit inconvenient."
Before Yanis finished, Zane took the spoon from her hand. He ladled the soup into the bowl, scooped up a spoon of soup and handed it to Yanis's mouth before blowing it. "Is it convenient?"
Yanis,"..."
"Not convenient yet?" Zane asked.
"I...I'll drink myself." Yanis wanted to take the spoon.
However, Zane escaped from her hand. He said in an imperative tone,"Open your mouth!"
With Zane staring at her, Yanis had to open her mouth and drank the soup handed by Zane.
She thought Zane would give up after a fer sips, but Zane didn't intend to let her drink a few sips totally.
After drinking two bowls of soup with Zane's help, Yanis couldn't drink anymore later. "I'm full." She said. Zane paused and looked at her. "Do you still want to eat?"
Yanis looked at the food on the table. She finally nodded after hesitating for a while.
Zane responded, "Well, I think you're not full."
Then he filled another bowl, scoped a spoon of soup and handed it to Yanis.
Yanis,"..."
Bonnie,"..."
Seeing that, Ivan frowned. "Mr. Lawrence, Yanis doesn't want to drink anymore, she wants to eat something."
Zane replied calmly without looking up,"She doesn't want to."
Yanis shook her head when Ivan was about say something. Then she looked Zane, "I can drink myself."
Zane stared at her for a long moment before handing the bowl to Yanis.
Yanis drank four bowls of soup. She was really full.
Looking at the dishes on the table that she usually liked to eat, she could only look at them. She really couldn't even have a bite.
Zane seemed to achieve his goal. He packed up the thermal box and looked at Yanis. "Let's go home."
Yanis looked at him in confuse.
"Well, are you unwilling to come home? Who allowed you to stay out at night?"
His strong attitude with some jealousness made Yanis a little speechless for a while.
At this time, Bonnie, who had been watching Zane strongly feed the soup for a long time, whispered, "Mr. Lawrence, Yanis can't sit in the car for too long now. Although it's not far from D-king Castle, she's in a special situation now. Mr. Lawrence doesn't want her to aggravate again, right?"
After hearing Bonnie's words, Zane glanced at her. Thinking of the doctor's instructions, he frowned in displeasure and then looked at Yanis, "I'll stay with you."
"Well, Bonnie will..."
"Catherine's order."
Before she finished, Zane interrupted her.
Bonnie glanced at Ivan and Zane before she spoke, "Mr. Lawrence, it's really inconvenient. There's only one room and I sleep with Yanis at night."
Zane ignored Bonnie but looked at Ivan standing aside.
Meeting Zane's gaze, Ivan kept silent. He sat in the chair, took the fork and handed one to Bonnie, "Bonnie, aren't you hungry?"
Bonnie glanced at Ivan and saw Zane out of the corner of her eye. She finally chose to stand on Ivan's side. After taking the fork, she sat on the chair. "Well, I'm starving." That done, Bonnie directly began her meal and wolfed it down.
Yanis glanced at Ivan and Bonnie who were eating and looked at Zane. "You'd better go back. I'll live here tonight."
Zane frowned at her.
He was about to say something when his phone in the pocket rang.
He had to swallowed the words that came to his lips and answered the phone.
Because the angle at which she sat, she could see the caller ID on the screen.
Neve.
Yanis twisted her eyebrows slightly. She couldn't help but feel a little annoyed. Sometimes it was not necessarily good to have a good eyesight.
Zane glanced at the caller ID and then looked at Yanis. "I'm going to take a call."
After that, he went outside to answer the phone.
As soon as he left, Bonnie looked at Yanis immediately. "What's wrong with him?"
Yanis shrugged.
Bonnie glanced at Zane who was standing at the door with his back to them to answer the phone, then she immediately handed some Yanis's favorite food with her fork to her. "Come on, open your mouth!" Staring at the food handed by Bonnie, Yanis shook her head. "Nope, I can't have even a bite."
Bonnie growled, "Scumbag must be possessed by some monsters or ghosts."
After eating the food, she seemed to think of something. She turned to look at Ivan and said vaguely, "Mr. Baxter, please stay here. I don't believe he can persist."
Ivan swallowed the food in his mouth. Instead of responding to Bonnie, he looked at Yanis, "Do you want to go upstairs and lie down?"
Yanis shook her head, "It's okay. I can sit here for a while."
