Official Luna

I stare at my reflection in the floor length mirror. The silver dress flowing beautifully from my neck and pooling at my feet, the mid thigh high slit leaving an air of sexy yet the look is still elegant. I have minimal makeup on a little bronzer, blush, eye lashes and a cute pink cotton candy lip stain.

My long blonde curls are swept to one side and brushing my waist. I gaze in to my own baby blue eyes ready to give myself a pep talk.

It’s finally time for us to take over the High Moon Pack. Aries, Ajax and I finally finish our ceremonies tonight, the twins have had their Alpha ceremony, all went smoothly and this evening is my Luna ceremony. The last few months of High school dragged and I’m still being baby sat even though it’s been so long since we heard of any threats from Argon. We had a huge party for my 18th not long after I got accepted by the council as an acceptable Luna for High Moon Pack.

I often wonder if word of me being marked has reached Argon and he’s no longer looking to take me as his Luna because I have accepted the twin Alpha’s wholly. Aries says I’m ridiculously naive, Ajax says It’s cute that the big bad wolf world hasn’t corrupted me yet.

The door to the closet in my room opens and Rach comes strutting into view in a stunning emerald green floor length dress, the back cut out deep and the girl looks like a little vixen.

“Damn girl you look stunn.” I compliment

“My bitch, as do you! These twins won’t last long at the ceremony you look that good.” She replies

Rach’s luscious copper locks are swept back out of her face and cascade down her back in loose curls, the green of her dress making her green eyes appear brighter.

The door knocks as we finish up, Jas has sent an Omega to rush us along, as we get downstairs to the hall the big wooden double doors open up and I hear Jas making her resigning Luna speech ready to announce me as the pack’s new Luna.

...And as sad as I am to be stepping down as your Luna, I am handing over the title to our new daughter and our son’s fated. Cierra is more than capable of leading this pack and is the perfect anchor for my sons. So I would love to present to you for the first time your Luna, Cierra Cardle.

At that i make my way towards the stage with Rach at my side. I air kiss Jas as Joseph stands to her side with the twins who both look at me hungrily licking their lips as though I’m being set on the table as their next meal.

I place my palm over a bowl as the twins do the same and Joseph slices into all of our palms as we complete the blood oath to lead and protect within the laws of our community and together as a team. As we finish the oath I feel a surge of strength radiate through me and I know Ajax and Aries feel it too as we all take on our new roles as a trio, we are strong together. I don’t think even Argon would try another attack against two Alpha’s and a Luna like us.

The festivities continue as we all make our rounds meeting members of the packs that have merged with our own and members from other packs that have joined us for the festivities. Rach and I head to the serving bar to get a drink arm in arm, Rach’s step falters and I can feel curiosity radiating from her as her head spins towards me and she looks over my shoulder, I hear her growl low. “Mate.”

I follow Rachs gaze as a huge man strides towards us, the crowd parting as he walks in our direction making a bee line to Rach, dark brown eyes locked to bright green ones. He’s in front of us in seconds though it seemed to unfold in slow motion.

They stand toe to toe and both say lowly “mate.” He leans down to Rach as she lets go of my arm and takes her lips in his. Pulling her to his body. I look around and spot the twins and make my way to them, no doubt Rach and her new found mate will be leaving us for the remainder of the evening, maybe the remainder of the week I snicker to myself.

I make it over to the twins who are standing talking with the former Alpha of the pack formerly known as rapid waters. They have meshed with our pack well and are all settled in and functioning members of High Moon now and the former Alpha Jerry is only too happy to have given up his title and be able to live the rest of his happy life with his Luna. They had never been able to have children of their own as Lindsay was badly hurt in an attack on their pack some 15 years ago and though wolves heal quickly there was some lasting damage. Jerry and Lindsay seem happy enough and have been discussing taking in some children from the pack orphanage now they don’t have their ruler responsibility.

The Alpha’s must have sensed my approach as they both step sideways away from each other to make a space for me in between them never once taking their attention from Jerry or their conversation. I wait for the twins to part ways from Jerry, as they do they look to me, “Baby where is Rach?” Ajax asks scanning around me for her familiar face.

“She found her mate, my Alpha, so I left her to it and came to find you.” I say. He gives me a sweet kiss on my lips and I turn to Aries as he speaks.

“Who is it my love?” He asks

“I’m not sure, they didn’t really leave room for introduction” I giggled at him.

Aroes grins at me, “Little Luna, you look amazing. Let’s finish mingling so we can get you back to our room and help you out of that fine gown.” Aries drawls out I swear the guy is slavering. They make me feel so hot!

“Remind me to thank our mother for picking out such a striking dress baby you look delicious.” Ajax says.

I smile at them both as Ajax takes my hand entwining our fingers and Aries places his hand at the small of my back as we carry on around the room speaking with more of our guests.

“My love, I couldn’t be happier. You are officially our Luna.” Aries whispers into my ear.
