Chapter 20.
opening my eyes with rage, my spirit now fueled with chaos.
“How dare he disrespect me. ME. THE MOON GODDESS.”
BAM!
The sound of both Ayra’s and I cage doors fly out. Ayra no longer looks worn out. Instead, she radiates beauty in every way possible. Glowing bright orange-yellow like the sunray, her afro began to grow fuller by the minute. Her skin is similar to the sard ring she wore, a gleaming stone of brown, mellow facade. Eyes glowing bright yellow, furiously seeking her revenge.
“DORLES DO SOMETHING” Chris shouts impatiently.
Ayra didn’t wait. She took Chris by the neck.
“HE IS MINE TO DEAL WITH.”
“HE IS MINE TO DEAL WITH.”
She emitted the force of chaos around her, blazing with flames. With her hands still around Chris’ neck.
“Deal with the rest, I’ll be back. I have a few words for this one.” Instantly disappearing.
I hear Dorles mumbling words, possibly a spell.
I decided to blackout the moonlight from the moon. Darkening the sky, causing an eclipse.
I produced a baleful laugh. “Will you still be able to read from that book of yours now?”
“I’m sorry…. I...I” She bends her knees down to the ground, as she begs for me to not kill her.
“Please… Plllleee...aaasse I was just doing what I was told. He forced me.”
“YOU FOOL!” I am fucking mad! The audacity she had to beg. BEG.
“BEGGING WILL LEAD YOU NOWHERE!” I said as I destroyed her spellbook in white flames.
“You don’t deserve to hold the powers of a witch. I would kill you myself but I leave that to your goddess Hecate.”
“NO PLEASE! PLEASE MOON GODDESS”
Catching me by surprise Dorles began to change appearance, her aura growing dark.
Laughing wickedly “Did you think I would be scared of you? A vessel that doesn’t yet grasp the full powers of a Goddess. Such Shame.”
This had us fuming with anger, if that’s what she wants then. Allowing my spirit to take absolute control as I feel my conscience being pushed back. Our powers pulsing through my body. Then out upon the darkness, we glow brightly in glory, flame-like in ethereal splendour. The night air becomes curiously cold, the wind growing powerful now icy and withering.
Dorles produces a thundering electric red light towards us. We swiftly move higher avoiding her attack. Not taking the time to look at the damage she caused. Our power in rage spread our hands out, lifting our palms. Within an instant the trees burst, showering a bit of wood in all directions.
Dorles covered her face with her arms as many bits of wood hit her forcefully. The forest ground crumbled quickly creating a hole that continue to expand rapidly to where Dorles stood. Before understanding what just happened Dorles fell into the hole.
Dorles tried to conjure another spell that was stopped by someone.
At first I was alert but later sensed Yeshua. He isn’t in his wolf form instead his eyes glowed a bright ocean green, his face contorted with fury. Dorles try to raise again but is slammed down by a powerful green light that came out of Yeshua’s hands. I wasn’t sure what exactly was happening because I could feel a shift of our powers from inside me.
“Azah. Dorles is powerful and knows a lot about spirits and vessels. Right now she’s cast a spell that can weaken your spirit. Zion is fighting the other werewolves but he will come soon and take you to the coven. I have to take Dorles to the Goddess Hecate spirit world. Will you wait?” Yeshua said urgently.
“Yee..eaahh”
I could barely think, losing concentration as I tried to fight off the spell. Collapsing to the ground, I could now see the yellow vapour, it was invincible.
“Yeshua I can’t, I’m losing her.”
“Take yourself at the Luns Garden, the garden will hold the body and the spirit together for some time till Zion arrives. Zion’s wolf will know what to do then. Don’t lose fight Azah. I must go.”
Laying on the ground gasping for breath. The strong painful sensation coursing through my body from the connection between my spirit and I is breaking. Am I dying? Losing her means that I’ll be dead right? Wondering where the hell did Ayra go.
“Ayra!”
A blurry image came running to me.
“Azah!” the voice shaky.
“AZAH!”
“AZAH!” The voice became louder and louder as it got closer.
Zion. Yes, he is here.
My eyes grew heavy as I fought to keep my attention on Zion’s figure running towards me. I must stay awake.
“Azah” his voice is soft and sweet as he whispers my name in concern.
Zion finally arrived, seeing him more clearly. He looked rougher from fighting. His eyes blackened immediately, his anger potent as he scans my bruises. Even though I knew the anger is not directed towards me, my body is at alert from his powerful aura.
“Zion, take me to Luns Garden. My spirit…..Dorles cast a spell…” It became more painful to speak, I couldn’t finish my sentence.
Zion's eyes glow, closing his hand into a fist drawing blood. He is trying to fight control. Losing the fight he begins to shift. A violent gust of wind blew around us, I am spellbound. Zion bones forcibly elongate and change shapes, moving and growing drastically. His fur became a brilliant white, with a glowing aura similar to the moon’s light. His eyes flashed ever so bright to me. Zion is the white wolf I was dreaming about. You can feel the strength he exhibits, an overwhelming Alpha aura oozing out of his body.
The world seems to go utterly still by the interrupted sight of him shifting. Seeing his wolf Zeus, something inside of me awakened. The night air punctuates as you hear Zeus’s great howl. Instantly I see six other wolves arrive. Zeus barked-howls to the rest of the wolves. He steps closer to me with clenched teeth and flaring nostrils. His eyes drink me in, as they follow the shape of my body; the outline of my thighs, from the caress of my hips and waist up to my lips and eyes. His eyes finally settled on my neck for a while.
Looking around I could see the other wolves surrounding us are in a defensive posture waiting for their Alpha’s command. “Oh no,” I thought. I could hear other wolves snarling violently at us. Zeus howls defensively, his pack without hesitation they began to attack viciously. Zeus takes me by his teeth and swings me to his back. He takes a strong leap over the other wolves, landing on the ground with great force. He then began to run. The wind streaming by us, Zeus' head is up and ears are forward as his paws pound the ground. His back went up and down smoothly and evenly. I silently rode on Zeus’s back, still in pain. Forcing myself to be awake.
We finally arrive in the Luns Garden.
“Azah.” Zeus saying my name is as intoxicating as Zion saying it.
“Yes?”
“Change into your Goddess form.”
“I can’t. I barely have enough strength to keep myself awake.”
“Change back Azah. She’s still there I can feel her. Trust me.”
Trust him, I did.
Though the transformation is painful, to my surprise I was able. But I didn’t glow, worried that we have lost our powers from this. Looking up the night reminded me of my spirit world and how dark it looked before. Zeus walks for some time, arriving at a lake that glows in abstract colours. Zeus lowers himself to the ground.
“Come down Azah. Go and bathe in the water, it’ll subside your pain. The Luns Garden will work in repairing your connection.”
I slide off his back. He noticed that I wasn’t capable of walking without groaning in agony, he took me and place me in the lake. My feet first then my legs enter in the cold water. Sending a chill sensation as it awakens every muscle in my body. Then suddenly I feel a warm and steady magical feel. As the water covers my ears and I segued into another world. A soothing cascade as If I am within arms that flow and hug so gently. Still underwater I open my eyes. A memory abruptly sends me back to the Blue Moon Ball. Walking inside the ballroom I hear a sweet melody, the room quiet with only the sound of violinists, harp players and pianists playing.
“MATE” I see him.
He turns around smiling wide revealing his pearly teeth. My heart stops.
He wore a white dress shirt with a patterned tailored suit. His suit is slightly more adventurous in colour as he pulls off burgundy and dark green wolf his clean shoes adorned his feet.
I found myself observing lustfully for way too long. It is impossible to take my eyes off of him. We stayed afar from a moment, just for a moment.
Opening my eyes, I exploded out of the water up to the sky. I flew to where the battle is still happening, looking below I see Zeus trailing me and picking up speed. We both stopped right in the middle of the battle and the pulse of bright blue light exploded outwards from both of our bodies. Shooting out in a wave of power. Using my power to force the SliverMoon pack to shift back to their human forms, permanently bonding them to their human form so they won’t be able to shift back.
I could see Zion shifting back, he glanced up.
“MATE, come back to me when you can.” He said through our mindlink.
“Of course my love.”
With that I flew higher and higher to the dark sky. Releasing the night, the moon obeys my command, appearing as the softest of flashlights. Falling from the sky giving it one last look before closing my eyes knowing when I awake Ayra’s spirit will have the sky radiant with the first kiss of the new day.
“I’ll miss you, Zion.”
