Chapter Epilogue
Alexa's POV
“Have you thought about your plans after graduation?” I inquired.
On our prom night, I sought solace away from the crowd by strolling with Felix.
“I’ll be swamped after graduation,” Felix replied, his arm encircling my waist.
“What will keep you so busy?” I queried.
“Maintaining top grades, assuming my father’s business responsibilities, ensuring my girlfriend’s happiness, then finding the perfect ring to propose for marriage, sketching out my future, raising kids together, choosing their names, teaching them to ride bicycles, and loving my family unconditionally—forever and always,” he detailed, gripping my waist more tightly.
“Kids? Marriage?” I responded, my laughter evident. He put on a playful frown.
“Are you suggesting you won’t marry me or have kids with me?” he teased with a playful glare. My giggles bubbled as I pecked his cheek.
“You’re incredibly endearing,” I noted, taking steps away from him.
“Hey, come back here! I’m not finished!” he called out from behind. “I’m being serious, Alexa,” he assured.
“Alright,” I concurred.
“How many kids would you like?” he inquired, a grin lighting up his face. After pondering momentarily, I answered, “Perhaps one or two.”
“What? No way! I want a large family—six, seven, or even more,” he declared, widening my eyes.
“I’ll be done after giving birth to the third,” I joked, laughing lightly. Swiftly, he enveloped me in his arms and nuzzled my neck.
“No, you won’t. If you prefer, we don’t have to bear our own children. But you won’t leave me,” he reassured.
He can be so charming at times!
“Really?” I quizzed.
“Absolutely,” he confirmed. “We can adopt them instead of having our own. How does that sound?” he proposed with a grin. Laughter burst forth from both of us.
“Did I mention you’re stunning in that dress?” he murmured in a hushed tone.
“Only about twenty-seven times,” I replied, causing him to chuckle.
“You’re gorgous, babe,” his words caused me to blush, and I gave his lips a quick peck.
“Shall we head inside now?”

“Ladies and gentlemen, the time has come to announce the prom Queen and King!” The girl at the microphone declared.
“Prom Queen is... Emily Michelson!!!” Applause erupted as I hugged her tightly. She shared a kiss with her boyfriend before stepping onto the stage, wearing her crown.
“Prom King... Justin Woods!!!!” Another round of cheers followed, and Justin took his turn on the stage. I smiled in his direction.
Before long, we were all swaying to the music.
Resting my head on Felix’s shoulder, I sighed contentedly.
This is what the start of a happy ending feels like, a mere beginning to our new lives...
