Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life

Chapter 913

Good thing Adrian went to get Flora, or who knows what might have happened with just the two of them alone in a room! "The elite coaches from the TM Club are all here. Take a look and let me know how you want to assign them," Youth said.

Flora glanced over. There were ten coaches in total, and since she wasn't familiar with their strengths and weaknesses yet, she was having them run laps to assess their skills. The coaches observed from the sidelines. After thinking it over, Flora said, "I'll take Adrian and Andy with me for training. The rest of you can pair up as you see fit."

These coaches were top-notch and had plenty of experience, more than capable of guiding this group of kids.

"Flora, I'm so jealous," Youth teased, a hint of envy in his voice. "You've never personally coached me!"

Though he was usually a tough guy, he sometimes liked to playfully complain. He instinctively reached out to tug on Flora's sleeve, but Connor had already pulled her closer, stepping back just in time. Youth's hand met empty air. He was dumbfounded. Was that really necessary? He just wanted a friendly tug.

After the recent events, he, as Flora's family, had reluctantly accepted Connor. He admired how Connor handled adversaries.

The coaches nearby, upon hearing that Flora would personally train Adrian and Andy, all looked on with envy. They too wished they could be coached by Ms. Flora...

As the conversation continued, Adrian and the others finished their laps, stepping out with a confident and energetic demeanor, full of determination. They had stopped worrying about whether they could win the competition in a couple of weeks. Just having the chance to be coached by the best of the TM Club was beyond their wildest dreams. Their only task now was to give it their all.

"Alright, you've all completed two laps, so we've got a good sense of your abilities. I'll assign the groups now: one coach for every two students..."

As the coach called out names, only Adrian and Andy's were left out.

"Adrian and Andy, you guys have a special arrangement. You'll be training with Ms. Flora."

The smiles on their faces faltered. Adrian glanced at Flora, unsure. Training with her? It's not that he didn't want to, but he was really looking forward to being under the guidance of a top TM Club coach! These coaches were seasoned pros who had trained countless top racers.

Though his sister was an amazing racer, teaching was a professional's job. Was she really qualified to teach?

"Coach, can I ask why we have to train with her?" Andy asked, unable to contain his curiosity.

Why were the others getting to train with TM Club coaches, but not them?

Hearing this, the coach gave him a look filled with an emotion Andy couldn't quite decipher-envy. "This is Ms. Flora's direct request."

Andy's lips pressed together tightly

and after a moment of silence, he approached Flora, who was sitting nearby. "Ma'am, I'd rather train with you."

He was blunt about it. He didn't understand why Flora wanted to train him personally, especially when therewere more professional options available.

"Oh, alright then," Flora said casually, raising an eyebrow at his disgruntled expression.

Andy was taken aback. He hadn't expected her to agree so easily.

Flora then turned to Adrian, who was hesitating. "You don't want to train with me either?"

Adrian felt a bit sheepish. "Sis, I'm with you all the way, and I don't doubt your skills for a second, but... are you sure?" Flora nodded, "Sure."

That was perfect for her. She didn't want to hang around here any longer and was eager to spend some time alone with Connor. "Well, I'm off then," she said, standing up and taking Connor's hand as they headed out.

"Are you guys nuts?"
