Chapter CHAPTER 375
Chapter 375
Flora: This is all your fault!
Connor stopped the car at a red light and finally picked up his phone to check the message. Seeing Flora’s text, he couldn’t help but chuckle.
He replied: Technically, you were the one who made the first move.
As soon as he typed “made the first move,” he couldn’t help but blush a bit. Being with Flora for so long had definitely awakened some desires in him. According to Ray, he used to be a gentleman on the outside but secretly a bit of a flirt. Now… it seemed he was openly flirtatious.
“The light’s green,” Henrik’s slightly ominous voice came from the backseat.
Connor put down his phone and started the car. He had originally planned to take them out for sushi, but Raul and Henrik were adamant about having hot pot instead. So, the
four of them ended up at a cozy hot pot restaurant.
Raul ordered a pot of extra spicy broth. Henrik, with a mischievous grin, picked up a mushroom soaked in the fiery broth and offered it to Connor. The mushroom had been simmering in the spicy broth for a long time, and just the smell was enough to make someone choke.
Flora frowned. She knew Connor couldn’t handle spicy food, yet Raul and Henrik had dragged him to a hot pot place and ordered the spiciest dish!
Flora extended her bowl, ready to take the hit for Connor, but he took the mushroom with a calm expression. “Thanks, bro,” he said.
He ate the mushroom with grace, but despite his best efforts, he ended up coughing lightly, the spice getting to him. Flora quickly handed him a glass of milk and shot Raul and Henrik a furious glare. Their bravado deflated immediately, and they quietly went
back to their food.
The extra spicy broth was insanely hot, even for Raul and Henrik, who were used to eating spicy food with Flora. They were downing milk like it was water. Watching them struggle yet still force themselves to eat was both amusing and frustrating for Flora. She eventually dragged them out for sushi, thinking they’d otherwise all end up at the proctologist overnight.
Later that night, Flora returned to her dorm. After a long day, she was pretty tired and half–asleep as she unlocked the door. As the door swung open, two figures stood there, stiff as boards.
Under the dim light, their eyes gleamed, staring straight at Flora. Her sleepiness vanished

Pra, you’re amazing Cynthia and Ellies had been waiting for her for a while, and she had finally returned! Cynthia’s mouth was like a machine gun, rattling off non–stop
Jan has already publicly apologized on Twitter. She admitted she swapped the speech and insulted your family first. And guess what? She’s dropping out!”
The more Cynthia talked, the more her admiration for Flora grew. Jillian came from a well–off family, and the teachers at school always cut her some slack. But with just one
from Flora, Jillian was dropping out and didn’t dare make a peep.
A true boss indeed! Awesome!
“Oh,” Flora responded nonchalantly and headed to the shower in her pajamas. After a refreshing shower, she lay on her bed, chatting with Connor and scrolling through Twitter. The first notification was from Jillian’s page. Flora clicked on it.
Jillian had posted a lengthy 500–word apology, every word dripping with remorse, even scolding herself. Flora’s lips curved into a smile, unable to hold back her laughter. It was clearly ghostwritten. Jillian would rather die than write something like that herself.
The comments were filled with insults, every kind of rude remark imaginable. Flora skimmed through them and then closed Twitter, satisfied.
