Chaos that is all I can see. All the members my age and younger are all dead on the floor in the Alpha’s house. The unmated females are being raped and it looks like there is a big orgy going on with all the older pack members. I look around but the Alpha is no where to be seen. I hear a scream and it sounds familiar. I turn and run towards the scream. I come to a hallway and start opening all the doors. I finally find the room I am looking for. The Alpha is there on the bed naked raping a women. I can not see who it is though the Alpha’s body is covering too much of the body. I notice movement in the corner of my eye. I swing my head around in that direction. It is my parents, just sitting there watching with Cheshire grins on their faces.

“What in the world is this and what is going on?” I ask my self

All of a sudden the screaming stops and all you can hear is the women chanting.

(You take our body without our permission. You try to steal our power and impregnate us. You will be punished til you meet the Gods and Goddesses. But your punishment will not stop there, it will follow you into the afterlife. Beware Alpha Sean you will reap what you have sowed. All of you will be punished.)

The Alpha starts screaming at her to stop. She will not stop though. She keeps repeating the chant over and over again. The Alpha starts to strangle her and push her head into the bed. But she starts to glow and the Alpha screams and his body turns gray and he starts to shake. My parents are trying to intervene but get scared when the Alpha changes color. They run past me out the door without even looking at me. Just after they leave everything turns silent. Alpha Sean is still as a statue with his mouth wide like he is trying to scream. Then his body convulses as he releases into the women overflowing out of her. He slumps over and falls to the floor.

I can see the women for the first time. She looks familiar but very different at the same time. Her skin is ashy with bronze/gold swirls all over. Her hair is exactly like mine but way longer and thicker. She has muscles in all the right places. Her Butt and Boobs are generous sized but not enormous either. I kind of feel like a perv checking her out, but I can’t get past the feeling that she is familiar. She then turns her head and looks straight at me. IT IS ME….

“Is this the future?” I ask myself.

“Is this what the Alpha wants. Why am I seeing this?” I continue torturing myself with questions.

Wake up. Wake up. Wake up. Come on Chris wake the hell up. WAKE UP!!!!!!!!!!!

My eye’s snap open and I instantly start to cry. Why oh why did I see something like that in my dreams. Is that the future? Is this what will happen if the King does not show? My brain is on over drive asking questions it can not answer or comprehend. Finally I calm down and fall back to sleep.

Screams of pain echo in the still night air as I walk down Main St. My body is numb and I feel absolutely nothing. I keep walking on numb legs staring into the dark of the night. Everything falls silent, the only thing to be heard is my feet crunching on the gravel of the road. I stop and my breath hitches as I see a Reaper standing a 100 yards from me. What could this Reaper want? This should be the question that I should be asking, but I know he has come for the evil souls to be brought to Hades himself to deal with. I start walking again and the Reaper just watches me as I get closer.

“What have you done Little One,” The Reaper asks as I stop in front of him.

“I have rid this world of the evil that has started to consume my people.” I say.

“You know that is not your job. That is the Gods and Goddesses job to do,” The Reaper replies.

Instead of answering him I grab his head with both hands and show him what the Gods and Goddesses demanded of me to do. Once the last of the message was passed on I let go of him.

“So now you see why it was me.” I simply say before stepping around him and walking off.

“Little One, beware of the demands put on your shoulders. This was never supposed to be your job. I can not see why it has but I will tell you this: The burden can become too heavy to bear on your own. When you meet your mates bond them and never let go. That will be your only solace in your life.” The reaper yelled out to my retreating back.

I wake up to complete silence in the house and it is welcome. My thoughts are completely scattered and I am trying to make sense of the last dream I just had. I just hope that I can go back to sleep and dream no more. I look at the clock and see that it is only 1:30 in the morning. Oh Thank the Gods and Goddesses I say to myself. I let myself drift back off praying for a dreamless sleep.

I wake up around 8 and just lay in bed trying to make sense of everything that has happened over the past few days. I start organizing everything in my mind that way I can put everything down on paper and figure it out better. I am finally starting to get some clarity and I hear the parents.

“Cair, are you up yet?” mom yells.

Ugh I hate it when she calls me that. “Yes Ma, I’ll be down in a couple minutes. I need to use the bathroom.”

“Just hurry up, we are supposed to be leaving in less then an hour for the Alpha’s house,” mom yells.

My word I swear she just wants to get on my nerves. We had a fight last night when I said I did not want to go to the Alpha’s today. I have not turned yet so I do not understand why I need to be there and be sworn in as a pack member. We have to have our wolves to be able to do that. They are keeping things from me, I just know it. But I am keeping it from them that I contacted the king. Plus that dream last night if it was a dream and not a vision has me on edge. I really need the King to show.

Ok, I really need to get up. I throw my cover’s off and climb out of my little nest of blankets. I storm to my closet and grab comfortable but proper meeting attire. I head to the bathroom, do my business, and jump in the shower. The shower is not long because mom will have a cow if I do not hurry my butt up.

Once I am back in my room and gotten dressed I go to slip my shoes on but I hear a slight noise just outside my window. I am about to go check when I hear my mom start screaming at the top of her lungs for me to come downstairs. I ignore her and investigate, It is my carrier, he is back. I quickly let him in and grab the note tied to him. There are two note’s which I do not understand why.

I open the first one it reads:

Christiana,

Thank you for informing me and I am already on my way. If I am not there by 10 stall as best you can. Your wolves are in danger if you are sworn in before the transformation. The power will all go to your Alpha and you will die or be left helpless if your strong enough to survive the power being stripped. You will also never get your wolf. Be cautious and stay safe. I look forward to seeing you soon.

The second one read:

Confused I read and reread the second letter. But I could not figure out who wrote it. I know my parents did not but obviously someone knows whats going on and wants to help. So I will listen to both peoples advice. I hid both of the letters in the suitcase I packed last night and ran down stairs just as mom started to come up stairs.

“What took you so long? We are going to be late.” mom yelled at me.

I just ignored her and kept going. She wanted to force me to do something, I was not going to give in that easily. I walk into the kitchen and grab a roll and water and turn to walk out of the house. As I reached the entrance way both my parents are blocking the door. They are staring at me with restrained violence in their eyes. My father yanks me to him and squeezes my arm til I whimper. He then shoves me to the floor.

“You do anything to ruin today it will be worse for you. There will be things done to you that will make you wish you would have listened,” My mother said to me.

I glared at both of them and say, “You might want to watch how you act and what you say. I bet the Alpha would not like it if he found out you were abusing me before he got to have me.”

I jumped up and shoved both of them out of my way and ran straight to the Alpha’s house. I went off to the side because it is not 10 yet and I refuse to go in til it is. I do not know why I said that to my parents but I felt it to be true. I can hear my mother and father ranting about all the things they are going to do to me once they get their hands on me. Yeah talk about showing your true colors. I have had my suspicions about them being my parents now I am certain they are not. As the rant started to get louder I knew they were getting closer so I found a bush to hide behind so they would not see me. The ranting finally stopped and I could no longer hear anyone.

I went to stand up til all of a sudden I could hear the Alpha’s voice and he sounded pissed.

“She had better show otherwise you will both die at my hands today. You had one job and that was to pretend to be loving parents and take care of her. I did not do all this work to fail today because you two could not follow orders.” Alpha Sean was furious.

“Yes, Alpha we will search for her and make sure she will be here on time.” I heard my dad reply.

I checked my watch and saw that it was just now 10. Yes I know I said I do not do electronics. My watch is eco friendly and solar powered. I stood up and walked to the door. Here’s hoping the king follows through on his promise. As I swung the door open a heavy hand landed on my shoulder. I stopped mid push and glanced over my shoulder to see who it was. After inspection I knew it could not be the king this guy did not have the power to be him.

“Excuse me Miss, sorry to bother you but is this Alpha Sean’s residence?” The guy asked very politely if not for still having his hand on me.

“Why do you ask, This is a private party,” I replied.

“Sorry, I forgot to introduce myself. I am Alpha Jameson and the Alpha is a good friend of mine and invited me to the party,” Alpha Jameson replied snidely.

“Christiana, what the hell are you doing just standing there let the man in,” My father said with violence barely concealed in his voice.

“Christiana. What a beautiful name you have. May I escort you in please?” Alpha Jameson surprised me.

He graciously held out his arm for me to take. I looked him up and down then slowly took his arm. Once I touched his arm he whisked me into the house. That black feeling I felt yesterday is back full throttle and making me nauseous. Once we got to the area where everyone was gathered I excused myself. I glanced around and did not see the king yet. I mingled with a couple of the others that will be transforming tonight as well. The nauseous feeling only kept getting worse and I could not stand being in the room anymore. So I asked where the bathroom was. No one had a clue so I had to ask the Alpha himself. I looked around and found where the Alpha was. He was talking with my Dad and his Beta. I went over and excused myself.

“Excuse me Alpha, may I ask where the bathroom is?” I asked turning slightly pink.

“Down the hall and fourth door on your left.” He replied smirking at me.

I turned and took off down the hall to find the bathroom. That black feeling was getting worse the further I traveled down the hall. I got to the fourth door on the left and opened the door. This was not the bathroom. I went to go shut the door when I was shoved roughly into the room. I hit the side the armoire. When I looked at who my attacker was. I was none other then that fake mother of mine.

“What the hell do you think your doing in these halls?” She spit at me.

“Well if you must know, I asked the Alpha to use the bathroom, but I must have heard the directions wrong.” I replied getting up and shoving her out of my way, “Also you might not want to touch me again. I overheard what the Alpha said to you and dad just a few minutes ago. Just remember your time is almost up and your life is in my hands now.”
