Fae Or Not I'm Coming For You: It's Only The Beginning

Theo and his most trusted showed up ten minutes later. I had AnLeon put out chairs in a semi circle around the thrones while we had waited. While Theo and his men were getting into their seats Hydrus was checking to make sure everything was safe and secure. Just as Hydrus was about to close the Throne room doors Acrux showed up. He walked in and Hydrus closed the doors behind him. Hydrus produce another throne for Acrux to sit in. Before Acrux sat he bent and gave me a gentle kiss and took the babe in my arms.

“Alright so now that we are all here before we start I want to introduce everyone. I know the King made an announcement of finding more of his mates but I want to make sure you have a face to a name. You all have already met Hydrus, next to him is AnLeon and on the otherside of me is Acrux. I am sorry I was not sure if he would be back in time for this meeting so I did not give you any warning prior. Any questions?” I say.

“Why were you not sure he would make it to the meeting. What was he doing to be away from you guys?” A young gentleman asked.

“Can I ask your name please?” I ask

“Oh yes sorry your Majesty. My name is Max.” Max replied.

“Well Max thank you for your name. I am sorry for asking your name again when we met earlier. I have a lot going on and I am trying to keep everyone’s names straight. To answer your question I will have to indulge some information that is not for everyone to know as of yet. But all will be revealed in this meeting. I am sorry I am not trying to be vague it’s just I would like to explain everything at once.” I explained.

Max nodded his understanding.

“How about you guys start off by introducing yourselves and telling us about what you do for our Kingdom.” I said.

Theo stood up and said, “My name is Theo and I am Head Guard. I am in charge or investigations, hiring guards, and managing all the guards in our Kingdom.” Then he sat down.

Max stood up next and said. “My name is Max and I am second in command to Theo. I am the one who sets the schedules and makes sure the guards are sent to the proper sections of the Kingdom.” Then he sat down.

Another young man stood and said, “My name is Trent and I am third in command. I am in charge of training the guards and finding out each guards specialty.” Then he sat down.

Another man stood up and said, “My name is Oscar and I am Head of the Jails. I am in charge of maintaining the Jails and making sure the guards are in the proper sections of the jails depending on their individual jobs.” Then her sat down.

The last man stood up and said, “My name is Issac. I am second in command in Investigations. It is my job to gather evidence. I have a small team that is solely trained in investigations that help me with different tasks.” Then he sat down.

“Theo, these are your most trusted but yet three of them were not here earlier.” I said

“Yes your Majesty. They unfortunately were out doing somethings for me earlier and were unable to make it back in time. But I have the utmost trust that they will pass your inquiry.” Theo explained.

“Oscar please stand and step forward so we can ask you some questions.” I said.

The guys started asking questions while I sifted through his memories. His memories had been tampered with not only by Isobel but also by others, including the dirty guards we caught. After Oscar we had Trent come up. I sifted through his memories and I know he could tell I was there but he did not resist me. He understood what I was doing. He thankfully was never tampered with or part of any of the dirty schemes. Lastly was Issac to come up. Once I started sifting through his memories he started to try to block me. I stood up and walked to him. I laid my hand on his cheek then grabbed his shoulder. I emersed myself in his thoughts and memories. He wasn’t dirty but this man has seen a lot since he started his job. I let him go and stepped back.

“You will find your mate soon and will not have to bare this burden alone for much longer.” I told him softly before going back to my seat.

Hydrus produced a drink for me and I drank deeply. I was exhausted but the drink replenished my energy.

“Now gentlemen I would like the guards that helped me with the Fae to come in as well.” I say as a few of the guys gasp.

Theo goes and opens the doors and in walk the four guards that helped me other then Keith. Theo goes and pulls out more chairs for the guards and then sits back down.

“Gentlemen before you sit down I would like to be properly introduced to you.” I say.

“Your Majesty my name is Danny.” Danny said then went and sat down.

“Your Majesty my name is Kent.” Kent said then went and sat down too.

“My name is Oliver your Majesty.” Oliver said and then proceeded to sit down.

“My name is Graham your Majesty.” Graham said then sat as well.

Knowing that they have already passed inspection I feel it will be good to have them here. They did an amazing job helping me in the dungeons and I wanted them to know this and not feel like they betrayed their King.

“Thank you Danny, Kent, Oliver, and Graham for your help in the Dungeons with the Fae. I know it was a difficult situation to be in especially when Fenrir threatend you all. But like I stated you will receive extra money for what you did.” I say, “Also I would like to introduce to you the other mates of the King and I. If you do not already know this is Hydrus, next to him is AnLeon, and then we have Acrux.”

“Now that is done, we will get down to business. Theo have you filled them in on everything that has been going on including Everly?” I ask.

“No I have not filled them in because as much as I trust them I wanted to wait til they passed your test. I am thankful they have though.” Theo said, “I am glad you talked with Everly. As you can tell things have gotten sketchy and there are a lot of people working against us.”

“Yes I have and she was very informative.” I replied.

“Ok so, I will have Hydrus start with his investigation and then we will move on from there.” I stated to everyone.

“Fenrir and I were investigating how people were able to get in and out of our apartments, why we kept feeling like we were being watched, and kept hearing voices. We followed the voices to the secret escape door for the King and Queen and once we opened it and stepped through, we were instantly transported to the Unseelie Realm. Because neither of us are from there we had a hard time figuring out who was apart of every thing from there. We had to navigate our way out of Unseelie unseen and we almost got caught a few times.” Hydrus explained.

“Ok so your investigation did not yield well but did you catch a scent or any clues of who could have been around our apartments?” I asked.

“Yes we got multiple scents and Fenrir recognized some of the scents and some he did not. Some of which were a few of the people that escaped your old pack during the raid.” He explained.

“Ok, so we know those that escaped are part of this. When we sifted through everyone’s memories we found those people in and around the castle, “I said. “The reason for going through everyone’s memories is because there are quite a few of you that had tampered memories. Because of this we needed to know who had been tampered with and who is involved. Any questions so far?”

“What happened in your old pack? I am sorry I was not here when things went down. I was off on an assignment.” Issac asks.

“Anyone else not here as well?” I ask.

“I wasn’t. I was out scouting some new talent for guards.” Trent says.

“Ok, well both of you come here and I will show you what happened. It will be easier then trying to explain it.” I said.

They both stood and walked towards me. They knelt on the floor in front of me and I put a hand on each of their heads. I let the memories flow of my time at the pack as well as the after math. I did not include my dreams, mating, or birth. Once I showed them everything I pulled away and let them digest everything. They both looked sad as they stood up and walked to their seats.

“Why do you both look so sad? Things happen and I am ok.” I asked.

“The fact that you can only remember the last couple years of your life and the way you were treated is awful. Then to have to deal with these monsters I can not comprehend how you are so chill about all of this.” Trent said.

“I wish the King had gone himself to investigate every thing. Thing’s would not have gotten so out of control if he had. But no he let a piece of tail distract him from his duties. We warned him about her and what we found out but he did not listen to us. She was in his bed for years and there was one point where they did not come out of that room for over a month. Food and drink was sent up every day but that was the extent of hearing from him. Isobel caused so many issues that we were cleaning up messes constantly. I can not believe he lied to you about her. He would have never caught her if it were not for the fact that the men here recorded her and showed it to the King. He does not deserve you. I know I should not talk ill of the King but he made his bed. Did you ever sift through his memories? I feel like his memories may have been tampered with.” Issac responded.

I sat there stunned by this revelation and was not sure how to respond. After a few minutes of stunned silence from my mates and I, Theo stood up and offered for me to go through his memories of all the events. I looked to my mates to see there thoughts on everything but all I got were nods to go ahead. I put my hand up on Theo’s head and let him show me everything. By the end of it I was bawling. Theo gently took me in his arms and let me cry my heart out. He was not my mate but I felt a kinship to him.

Once I finally stopped crying I lifted my head and gently asked, “do you feel that too.”

He just nodded and slowly stepped away then responded, “I did. I feel like we are kins but I am unsure how when you are not Wolf.”

Theo then walked back to his seat and sat back down. I looked back to my mates and nodded my confirmation on what Issac had said was true. They looked livid and Hydrus linked me and my mates together, “He needs to stay in the Seelie Realm longer then. He is obviously a lot worse off then we thought. Someone was able to tamper with his memories and I say this because he told me the extent of his relationship with Isobel and he truly believed and I felt the truth in what he was saying.”

“I agree but we need to confront him and bring those memories forward before we let him know he needs to stay longer. It is better this way because we are essentially cleaning up his mess.” AnLeon said.

“I agree.” Said Acrux.

“I agree as well. As much as I do not want to be away from him longer and keep the babes away he needs to stay away.” I responded sullenly.

“Sorry we were just discussing Fenrir and what needs to be done about that situation. Do not worry he will be fine we are going to help bring those memories back and let him know his punishment. He did this while he knew I was his mate so that is something I do not take lightly.” I explained to the men in front of us.

Acrux cleared his throat and waited for everyone to give him his attention. “My investigation gave us a lead. The scent lead back to the House of Hellhounds. Now this is concerning because one of Chrisiana’s forms is Hellhound. So we have to tread lightly. This could be someone preventing her from finding her mate or trying to usurp the throne and steal her power. But I feel like there is more to this. I need to investigate more. I have a friend in the House of Hellhounds and maybe he can give us some more answers. I trust him with my life so I will trust that he can help. I know it is not his scent though. I am confused on why the House of Hellhounds would be working with humans or even Wolves.” Acrux explained to every one.

“Why would the Hellhounds be involved in this?” Theo wondered out loud.

“We need to speak with the King about your parents as soon as possible to see if we can get your memories back. I feel like some of this has to do with your past.” Oscar said.

“How do you know the King knows Christiana’s parents?” AnLeon asks.

“I come from the Seelie Realm. The King brought me with him when he decided to come over to the Human Realm. My father was a Lycan and my mother was a Pegasus. It is unheard of and both of my parents were made to have their memories erased and my father was sent to the Human Realm and my mother was sent to the Grey Realm. Because neither remembered me the King took me under his wing and raised me. No I do not know your parents but I do the legend around you.” Oscar explained.
