Chapter 5 part I
The Wolf World of Elementa Universe
Unknown Year
The darkness feels heavy and oppressive, and she finds herself accepting the possibility that she may soon be swallowed up in nothingness. Her golden flame fur no longer beamed the way it used to and soon her powers will be gone too.
The only reason why it took this long is that her stubbornness kept her powering through the rapid decline of her powers. She knew it, and the rest who depended on her knew it too.
All were hopelessly in slumber but aware that their last hope was dimming down. They could hear her breathing faintly. They knew she was fighting through the pain.
Where is he?
How could he leave her like this?
The guardians were outraged but could do nothing as they were locked in slumber with no way of escape without help. Communicating with one another was becoming harder, it was she the golden wolf who was making it possible for the other guardians to communicate. Soon that won’t be possible. They depend on the only two guardians that were promised by the divines.
One is trapped, unable to free herself. The other roamed freely, searching for her. Both of their senses of one another are broken and cannot be restored until they meet again.
If they are to meet again that is.
The golden wolf’s weakened state began to completely deprive her of her senses. She lay on the floor helpless waiting for a sign that she had reached her destination. Waiting, seconds become minutes, minutes become hours, hours become days, and days become years. She feels as if she has stumbled into a pocket of density and for the first time, she let go of her stubbornness and began to accept the essence of darkness.
This was her last chance to reach out to him. She set back time, one last time. As she did this her golden flame fur was no longer gold. Setting back time devoured every last particular luminosity that was graced from her fur. Slowly inch by inch her fur turned black like the night sky where it’s the darkest of grey but this one was pure black. Even her eyes no longer glowed gold, just pure black. It was as if someone had shut off the stars and moon. In this case, it might as well have.
Without her time will go.
