Chapter 650
Around nine o'clock, Felicity took a bath. The children all went to the villas on the mountainside to play, so the large seaside villa
became abnormally quiet.
Felicity had bought a plane ticket at 11 p.m.
It would only take 40 minutes to get to the airport from here, so Felicity had enough time. Suddenly, she didn't know what to do.
In the past, with children by her side, she felt time fly by very quickly. In the blink of an eye, it would be 11 or 12p.m., but now,
why did it seem like time had stopped.
Felicity had the Old Garry bring her a cup of red wine. Holding onto the wine cup, she leaned on the balcony's railing, looked at
the distant waves and felt an indescribable loneliness.
How strange! Could it be that as one gets older, one really feels lonely?
Or was it because the children had all grown up so that they could play by themselves and did not need her all day long to
accompany them?
No matter what, Felicity did not like this quiet night where she could hear her own heartbeat.
She raised her head and drank all the wine in one breath. After that, she placed the cup on the stone table beside her, turned
around, and walked towards her room.
Not long after, she left her room with a trunk.
She would rather wait at the airport than stay in this empty house.
Old Garry had promised to send her to the airport, so Felicity didn't need to worry about not having a means of transportation.
Just that, when Felicity got off the building and walked towards Old Garry's car, she saw that the car had started. The lights
shone on the garden and lit up the entire place.
Felicity walked over and knocked on the window.
The trunk of the car opened, and with some difficulty, she put the her trunk inside. Soon after, she opened the door and sat
inside.
She was in the back seat.
"Old Garry, you can start the car. Sorry for troubling you!" Felicity said softly, her tone becoming much more polite.
The person in the driver's seat didn't respond. He just turned the car around and drove away.
The light in the car was dim, and the light outside the window was getting farther and farther away, Felicity could not help but turn
her head to look, and when she looked, her eyes became wet.
Even though she had said goodbye to the children, why was her heart still clogged up?
Because she didn't seem to say goodbye to Edward, as if ... It was like a kind of lament.
"Isn't your plane at 11: 20? Why do you go to the airport so early?" When the car drove out of Hughes Family's villa, Edward's
low voice came out from the driver's seat.
Felicity, who had originally been depressed in her heart, was stunned when she heard this familiar male voice.
Then she felt the man pull the wheel to the side of the road and stop the car.
"Sit in front!" The man seemed to know that Felicity was shocked, and didn't wait for her to respond, and only gently reminded
her.
Only then did Felicity lean towards the driver's seat. Unexpectedly, it was not Old Garry, but Edward.
How could it be him?
Felicity had always thought that it was Old Garry driving.
"What are you thinking about?" The man saw that she didn't respond for a long time and impatiently urged her on.
Only then did Felicity open the car door and sat in the passenger seat. Her beautiful eyes stared at the man in the driver's seat
who was dressed in a suit and had an extraordinary temperament.
"Are you that surprised to see me?" Edward reached over, pinched her small and delicate chin, and leaned forward with his
upper body. His thin lips easily obtained her lips, and after a passionate kiss, he released his hand, and his smile grew even
wider.
It was only after being kissed by him that Felicity regained her senses and asked Edward for the reason.
"Why are you in the car? Isn't this Old Garry's car?" Felicity frowned.
"Yes, I got Old Garry to get off!" Edward answered somewhat proudly.
"Why?" Felicity asked like a fool.
"What do you think?" Edward looked at her intently: "Because I don't want other men to send you off, even if it's Old Garry. I don't
want to!"
Felicity was shocked by his words, then she taunted: "Don't you feel that your words are a bit funny? There's nothing between us
anymore."
"Who said that? Didn't I just kiss you? If I kiss you, that means you are mine!" Edward started the car once again, and the car
converged into the traffic in the darkness of the night.
Felicity knew that Edward was talking about these imaginary words again.
She silently pursed her lips and did not answer.
Edward turned his head and looked at her: "Why aren't you saying anything? You're going abroad. Is there nothing you want to
tell me?"
"No, we've been very clear, haven't we?" Felicity was suddenly annoyed... She had managed to calm down, but now she was
afraid that her heart would be fuelled again.
This man was really too unreasonable and hateful. It was his decision to break up, and he was the one who kept pestering her.
Felicity felt that he was too shameless.
"We've done what we should and shouldn't do, what are you going to say?" Edward smiled, as if he wanted to disturb her.
Felicity stared at him angrily: "Edward, can you calm down a little?"
"I also wanted to stop, but I couldn't. Ever since I met you, I lost control of myself. I shouldn't have come to send you off, but
when I came to reason, I found that I was already sitting in the car waiting for you." Edward laughed at himself, as if he was
helpless against it.
Hearing his words, Felicity's heart became complicated for a moment.
"Then what's the point in doing what we're doing now?" Felicity was still very willing to hear his words. At the very least, it proved
that their emotions had not faded and he still wanted to see her.
"Felicity, can we forget about our identities for now? Just like before!" Edward suddenly asked her in a low voice.
Felicity's expression froze for a moment, then she chuckled: "If only I can go back to the past, then that's good. I really wish that
it was a dream, and I want to wake up quickly. When I wake up, you were still lying by my side, and hear the laughter of the
children outside the door."
Edward's heart trembled. Suddenly, he turned the car around, and stopped in front of a hotel.
"We still have an hour. Let's go up!" Edward pointed to the entrance of the hotel.
Felicity's body trembled. Her small snow-white face inexplicably flushed red: "I'm not going. Hurry up and send me to the airport!"
"Don't you really want to?" Edward was inexplicably disappointed. One must know that he was thinking about it every minute and
every second.
Felicity's heart felt as if it was scratched by something, and felt itchy.
How could she not?
