Chapter Angelic Beauty sneak peek
My eyes roamed around the bar taking in the eyes lingering on me. I smirked into my drink, twisting a lock of my hair.
"Can I get you anything else?" The bartender asks me, eyeing the three empty shot glasses already on the table. She had no reason to worry, it takes way more than three shots to even get me buzzed. I was here for a different reason.
"Actually, I'd like to pay now." She nodded, going to print out me a receipt. My eyes went to the table on the far right again. The group of Lycans now eyeing me like a rare steak. She brought the receipt over and I gave her my card. I looked around the bar once again, spotting a back door, perfect. "Have a nice night."
"You as well." I smile, standing. Slipping on my jacket I looked over my shoulder, making eye contact with the group. Feeling bold, I wink. That'll get their attention.
Whistling casually I sauntered over to the backdoor. The frigid air hit me the moment I stepped out. How I wish I was wearing more than a dress right now. My nose scrunched up at the smell that hit me, why does it always have to be an alley?
The sound of the door opening had me smiling. I pretended not to hear it, walking further into the dark alley, right into a dead end. Footsteps thudded behind me, "Look here fellas? We found ourselves a trapped mouse to play with."
I turned leaning against the wall, crossing my feet at the ankles. Four in total, this was going to end fast. A feline smile crossed my face, "You don't want to play with me boys, I have a boyfriend." I warned, a seductive smile on my face.
A dark haired guy stepped up, the leader? He looked around the alley grinning. "I don't see this boyfriend, all I see is us." He grins, showing yellowed teeth. Gross.
I smirk, "Look behind you." A soft thump had them all spinning around, hackles raised.
"Do you see me now?" Enzos grin was filled with malice. The lycans stiffened, but one tried to run and make a grab for me. With a flick of my hand he slammed into the wall, falling unconscious. "I want to send whoever you're working for a message." In a split second he had one of them by the throat. "And you'll be the one to deliver it."
A laugh escaped me, gaining their attention. "Aren't you a lucky one." I said to the guy Enzo was holding, then my eyes went to the rest. "The rest of you, not so much."
Enzo winked at me, before snarling in the guy's face. "If they want her, they'll have to go through me." Then he flung him to the opposite end of the alley. He took off the trenchcoat he was wearing, tossing it to me. Leaving him in just a black shirt and jean pants, I licked my lips at the sight. Even in casual wear he looked delicious. "Now, who wants to die first?"
