Chapter Alpha J 41
Chapter 41 Happy
Amarah
I am so focused on the lyrics of the song that I don’t see Alpha Crios giving me a death glare, nor do I see the females that look between Theseus‘ men and us and I sure as hell don’t see the Alpha of Shadow Moon Pack checking me out. I do feel Theseus‘ feelings going all over the place, but just a touch of my hand settles him down.
Ione takes the earphones out and tells me to get ready for my match. I see Joseph in a very serious discussion with my Father, but even straining my hearing doesn’t help and I give up on trying to eavesdrop on their conversation.
“Kick some ass, my Alpha.” Theseus says through our mind–link, just as I am taking of my sweater to enter the Arena. I am looking forward to this fight, I have a legal excuse to kick this Alpha’s ass and I stare directly at him as I step into the Arena.
Like Alpha Crios he taunts me with my rejection, but I don’t respond at all to his words and I know it frustrates the hell out of him. Like most Alphas he believes that females aren’t cut out to be Warriors and definitely not meant to be Alphas, Betas or Gammas.
Today is the day this Alpha will get his ass kicked by a female, a female that also happens to be an Alpha and I know it will embarrass him as much as it embarrassed Alpha Crios. He lunges at me and I decide to make this a quick match.
I duck down making him fly over me and as he is above my head I roll forward to slam the heel of my boot into his face. He is out cold before he hits the floor and Joseph is cheering louder than anyone else, he is on Theseus‘ shoulders as he cheers.
I walk towards them as Alpha Crios approaches them and I see that his gaze is focused on Joseph, “Hello, Joseph. Are you enjoying the Competition?” He asks and I wonder what he is up to, Joseph tells him he is really enjoying himself.
I know shit is about to hit the fan when he asks Joseph if he is here with his Father, “Yes, I am here with. my Father.” Joseph replies and I see a strange look on Alpha Crios‘ face, “I thought your Father was with your Grandfather.” Alpha Crios states and Joseph says, “Yes, he is with my Grandfather.”
Alpha Crios is looking around and Joseph asks him what he is looking for, “I am looking for your Father and your Grandfather.” Alpha Crios answers and I think he is about to blow when Joseph says, “They are right here.” Slowly it hits me, Joseph is telling the truth about where his Eather and Grandfather are.
Everyone stares at me as I burst into a fit of laughter and I think that pisses Alpha Crios off even more, “It is not a good idea to lie to an Alpha, Pup.” Alpha Crios growls at Joseph, but before anyone can respond I step between Alpha Crios and Theseus.
“Alpha Crios, if I ever hear you threaten Joseph again will bring war to your doorstep and wipe out that pathetic excuse of a Pack of yours. Joseph is telling the truth, it is just a truth you are not aware of and it is a truth we are not going to explain to you.” I growl back at him.

I think Alpha Crios has a death wish as he is talking to Joseph and when he accused Joseph of lying 1 wanted to side with him, but then my Mate opened her mouth. She probably realized why Joseph answered him the way he did and I let his questions run through my mind again.
Damien isn’t here and neither is my Father or Penelope’s Father. Even if they were here I wouldn’t let them anywhere near Joseph, after all Amarah and I adopted him for a reason and than it hits me
square
in the face. I look at Atlas to see if he has connected the dots, but I don’t think he has.
I pull Joseph from my shoulders and hand him to Rhea as everyone already knows that she is Midas‘ Mate. Eos and Xanthos step closer to Rhea and I know nothing will happen to Joseph, “Alpha Crios, as Alpha Amarah just stated you don’t know the truth and I give you the same warning Alpha Amarah already gave you.
Threaten Joseph ever again and war will be knocking on your door. Now get the hell away from us and that also includes Delia.” I growl as I get in his face. Alpha Crios looks at me and says, “If that bitch…” He doesn’t get the chance to say anything else as Linus pushes forward.
He grabs him by the throat and lifts him of the ground, “Don’t you dear threaten my Mate. He roars as he punishes him in the face and send him flying into the center of the Arena, but before Linus can run after him Amarah grabs his arm.
“Linus, calm down.” She says as she places her other hand on his cheek. “Linus, look at me. I need you to calm down, I am right here.” Linus pulls her into his arms and buries his face in her neck. She wraps her arms around his neck and she just holds him.
Linus and I both know Amarah didn’t want anyone else to know just yet, but she also knows I can’t control Linus when someone threatens her. “I am sorry, my Alpha. I just lost control,” Linus tells her through our mind–link, “I know, Linus. Everyone can tell there was no stopping you and there is nothing to be sorry for.” She replies.
Alpha Crios gets help from his Beta to get back on his feet and Alpha Jaydon steps in front of him, “Alpha Crios, I suggest you and your Pack–members go home and don’t think about spreading false rumors or I will side with Alpha Theseus and Alpha Amarah.” He says.
Silver Moon Pack may not be a large Pack, but having them on our side means an advantage as they are not far from Hollow Moon Pack and Alpha Crios knows that it will cause him trouble. There might not be an alliance between both Packs, but if needed they help one and other out.
Alpha Crios seems to understand the trouble he will find himself in if he lashes out again, but the look he gives Amarah doesn’t predict much good for the future. Shadow Moon Pack follows–Hollow Moon Pack inside and I know they will try to come up with something to bring trouble to our doorstep.
The rest of the day is uneventful and both Alphas Amarah wants to fight are still in the Competition. There are eight competitors left and I hope her next match will be against the Alpha of Black Stone Pack. He has always been a cocky bastard and I will enjoy watching him go done at the hands of a femate.
Elder Ezra gets on the stage after the last match is over and he announces that Amarah broke her own record, Amaral giggles while others stare at Elder Ezra. “When Alpha Amarah took down Alpha Crios, she did it in the fastest time ever and she broke that time taking down Alpha Harold.”
Everyone in the Arena is quiet except for a five year old male, Joseph is applauding and cheering as he is standing on the bleachers and Amarah takes a how in his direction Alpha laudan and Alnha

Murphee join him in his applause and I can see my Mate becoming a bit embarrassed.
“They all should be applauding, you deserve the credit, my Alpha.” I say through our mind–link and I also start applauding her, soon every member of the four Packs are applauding. I slip my arm around her waist as I kiss her forehead and she wraps her arms around my waist.
We head back into the Hotel and Joseph asks if he needs to change into other clothes, “No, my Little Wolf. If you don’t want to put other clothes on you don’t have to.” Amarah says and he jumps up and
down towards the elevator Luna Maeve is talking to Anthea and Delia about Jane’s visit and I am
surprised to hear that Damien had accompanied her
“Why did Damien come with her?” Delia asks and I growl at the answer she gets, “I believe my Daughter is sleeping with him and I have an idea that Harver is very aware of it. I wouldn’t be surprised if they share her.” Delia stares at her in disbelieve and I can’t blame her for it.
“Harver isn’t Jane’s fated Mate, so they can’t feel it when they sleep with others. I even think it is the reason why Penelope took a chosen Mate, I can’t be sure about it but I think Penelope had a somewhat serious relationship with her Father’s Beta.” Luna Maeve explains.
Delia is shaking her head and even I have trouble believing what Luna Maeve just explained, but it would answer the question why Joseph had seen Damien leave Harver’s room. Theseus, do you think that is also the reason why your Father didn’t wait for his fated Mate?” Xanthos asks me through the mind–link.
“It would explain Jean’s story about him and I wonder if he ever took advantage of the Omegas before I took over.” I respond. I am grateful Jean had trusted me enough to tell me what had been going on with my Father and that I was able to take precautions before we left.
Joseph is talking to Delia when we finally arrive at the suite and it feels good to see him at ease with all of them. He looks happier than I have ever seen him before and I hope it has something to do with me and Amarah.
