A Man Like None Other (Jared Chance)

"I don't blame you. When it's time to send you on your way, I'll make it quick. I'll spare you some of the pain," Jared said slowly.

A shiver ran through Ezio. He had witnessed Jared's capabilities firsthand. Killing him would be as effortless as crushing an ant.

However, now that they had the backing of the Buckley family, Ezio was betting that Jared couldn't possibly stand a chance against them.

"Hmph, don't get too cocky. We might not be your match, but this arcane array was specifically designed for you!"

After Billy finished speaking, a documentation device suddenly appeared in his hand. Without a moment's hesitation, he fiercely crushed it into pieces. Suddenly, within the entire vein mine, astonishing spiritual lights began to shine.

The piercing luminescence permeated throughout the entire vein mine, and where Jared stood, he was surrounded by pillars of light that had congealed from the radiance. It was as if he was encircled by a prison of light, completely trapped within. Upon seeing Jared being surrounded, Billy and Ezio breathed a sigh of relief, then burst into laughter.

"Jared, this arcane array was crafted specifically for you by a senior array master brought in by the Buckley family. I know you have some understanding of array craft, but breaking this arcane array is beyond your capability," Ezio said with a laugh. He knew Jared very well, including all his secrets. Now, Jared was trapped within the arcane array and there was simply no way out.

"Indeed, this arcane array has a unique feature. It slowly compresses the space around you, gradually squeezing your body until, ultimately, you'll be crushed into dust. In that case, you wouldn't even have a whole corpse left. You might as well surrender gracefully. Mr. Teegan has taken an interest in your magic sword. If you were to offer it to him, there's a chance he might spare you, if he's in a good mood!" Billy declared.

Teegan had long expressed his desire for the Dragonslayer Sword in Jared's possession. As a swordsman, Teegan would undoubtedly covet such a powerful and spiritual weapon.

Jared laughed. "Do you two truly believe this arcane array can trap me?"

Billy scrutinized Jared, his voice full of disbelief as he questioned, "What's the matter? You think you can escape?"

"It seems you still know too little about me. In Ethereal Realm, there's yet to be an arcane array that can trap me!"

After Jared finished speaking, a rich aura emanated from him.

Billy's face went pale. He quickly unleashed a surge of spiritual energy, activating the arcane array to begin compressing, with the intention of crushing Jared into dust.

The fact that Jared was able to kill Niel proved he was no ordinary man.

Jared's strength had increased now. Even though there was an arcane array in place, Billy didn't dare to let his guard down.

Billy was determined to trap Jared within this arcane array. He absolutely couldn't let him escape.

However, Billy had no idea that Jared's array craft was not something any senior array master could compare to.

This so-called high-grade array was nothing but nonsense in Jared's eyes.

Jared had studied both divine and demonic markings extensively. This knowledge was directly imparted to him by Hellion and Divinus.

Even the simplest divine marking was beyond the reach of these so-called array masters of Ethereal Realm.

Billy glared at Jared. "If you continue to resist, I'll make sure you regret it..."

Jared smirked. "You are truly naive, thinking that such an arcane array could trap me."

"Jared, you should stop resisting. Given your relationship with my sister, I can put in a good word for you. It might just save your life!" Ezio said abruptly.

Jared glanced at him, his expression full of disdain. "You think you're worthy to speak to me?"

Having said that, he gently stomped his foot.

As his foot made contact with the ground, a surge of spiritual energy emanated from beneath his feet, quickly rippling outward in all directions.

Boom!

Accompanied by a thunderous noise, the entire vein mine began to shake. The pillars of light surrounding Jared disintegrated in an instant, and the arcane array was obliterated by the immense force.
